When I was still living in Montreal, Quebec, I saw an influx of Jews from Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, etc. to escape persecution in their birth countries. They were French speaking as were the Quebecois. (There was also a smaller influx of Arabs and Persians.) Unfortunately, they are now seeing stuff like what happened at Concordia.

Odeh has a video showing a group of settlers descending the hill above their house, throwing rocks. The husks of cars she says they set on fire still sit outside the house.
