Fentanyl and hot tubs are not a good combination.....
wow that is really sad.
I know people who have lost people to drowning . It is incredibly sad & hard to deal with.
I pray for his family and friends during this difficult time.

If I was a gambling man, I would put a lot of money on it. I know he had cleaned himself up and was very active in helping others rehab, but you just never know when someone is going to relapse. Philip Seymour Hoffman.
Apparently he punched out the current PM when he was in high school.
Friend met him at Guvernment nightclub one night, Matthew had 2 friends with him. My friend bumped into him not knowing who he was since he was backing into the bar while talking to his gf. He grabbed Matthew's upper arm and apologized right away and Matthew looked at him and told him (trying to remember the exact words) but something along the lines of "when you're as big as you are, I should be apologizing to you" , both laughed and then he bought my friend and his gf a couple of drinks.
Apparently a super cool guy, zero attitude, no "I'm a star" kind of attitude.
Would have been cool to have met him, always liked his vibe, seemed very relatable and chill.

Another person with problems who happened to have loads of cash and access to drugs, no different than poor people with no cash, but still have problems and manage to get drugs as well.
What were the circumstances? His mother worked for Pierre Trudeau (I think as a press secretary or something similar). (i think she couldn't hack the job and was transferred)
