No, you just don't like the answer because it hits too close to home. That is the brainwashed response.

Excellent! Now apply that exact same logic to 'reconciliation' with First Nations here in Canada....oops...I love it when you start off with the usual thumb sucking. But, I’ve got some hard truths for you. Jews were not the first in that region and they won’t be the last. They are just one of many peoples in that area. They’ve got no more claim to it than any of the others.
Time for the usual...And trounce them.
He’s like the young guy in that video. He waves his arms, thinks rockets are great. Then cries hard when the consequences come.
Trouble is, they actually were here first. And only them. Oops.Excellent! Now apply that exact same logic to 'reconciliation' with First Nations here in Canada....oops...
Netanyahu couldn’t have written it better. You are advocating for and trying to justify mass murder of Israeli civilians. You haven't even expressed remorse for all the dead Israelis because in your mind you think it is completely acceptable.
For you, anything short of ethnically cleansing Jews and ending the existence of Israel, is racist brainwashed drivel.
Yet another example of why Palestinians are suffering the way they are.
oh yes, tribes never ever moved around and the people that were there were always there. Hilarious, you're so brainwashed.Trouble is, they actually were here first. And only them. Oops.
If you can find people alive who were there before the First Nations, let me know.oh yes, tribes never ever moved around and the people that were there were always there. Hilarious, you're so brainwashed.
A devout Muslim cannot accept that a non Muslim can seize and hold land that has previously been a Muslim land and must wage permanent jihad against the unbelievers until they are all dead or converted to Islam or driven out and the land is once again blessed by Allah.Based on what I have heard Palestinians say - that Israel is an illusion that should not exist and that the entire land, river to sea, belongs to them, I am unsure what Palestinians would have done, had the Israelis lost. I am sure they would have ethnically cleansed the Jews based on that alone. Now am not saying Jews in Israel do not argue this - there are several that consider the Palestinians as the occupiers and want them to go away. But the proportion of Israelis who propose to live together in peace seems to be far higher than the proportion of Palestinians who want to live in peace next to the Jews.
The fundamental problem with Palestinian demands (and that of the Arab Muslim world), seems to be that according to them, any non-Muslim sovereign entity, does not have a place in the Islamic expanse of the middle east. And today the problem is that for peace and statehood to happen, Palestinians want to go back to the past and work for peace from there, when in reality, they squandered that opportunity right from the get go in 1948! So presently, peace and statehood has to be negotiated based on current realities, which they are unwilling to consider.
This uncompromising position, combined with terrorism and an unwillingness to socially or politically progress, along with Israel's own racism, oppression and security measures, is the reason for Palestinian suffering.
It takes two to tango. The day Palestinians get rid of terrorism, accept Israel as a legitimate state, accept that Israel will hold on to the larger land mass, and be the one that will be economically, militarily and politically dominant, is the day Palestinians can hope to have peace and a separate state (that will be much smaller than the one in 1948 and 1967), from where they can start over.
Under British rule, the Jews bombed the king david hotel, terrorism against the Brits. The Brits passed the buck to the UN and now Palestine is the cluster fuck it is.They've got as much a claim to it, as the Palestinians do. But the Palestinians are the ones who tried to engage in terrorism first - Arab paramilitary groups prior to 1948, the 1948 war, the 1967 war, the Yom Kippur War, formation of the Hamas, suicide bombings - you name it, and are now uncompromising in their position. Unfortunately, they will continue to suffer with that attitude.
But it doesn't matter, does it?Trouble is, they actually were here first. And only them. Oops.
Yuh. My uncle and my best friend's dad served there in the British army and it was miserable as fuck!Under British rule, the Jews bombed the king david hotel, terrorism against the Brits. The Brits passed the buck to the UN and now Palestine is the cluster fuck it is.
Interesting take given Palestine was never a thing prior to then.Under British rule, the Jews bombed the king david hotel, terrorism against the Brits. The Brits passed the buck to the UN and now Palestine is the cluster fuck it is.
Prior to the Brits controlling Palestine, that area was under Ottoman control and called something else. The Brits promised the Arabs in the area their own state if they took up arms against the Ottoman Empire.Interesting take given Palestine was never a thing prior to then.
Not sure they did. They offered the Saudis their own state and were taken up on the offer. Palestine was closely controlled by the Ottomans until 1918.Prior to the Brits controlling Palestine, that area was under Ottoman control and called something else. The Brits promised the Arabs in the area their own state if they took up arms against the Ottoman Empire.
This one for sure was all Britain's fault. They offered the Jews a Homeland in Palestine and being British, they assumed everyone would be reasonable and discuss their issues over tea. And when the Jews and Arabs were "damned uncivilized and bad sports about the whole show!" fucked off quickly back to Britain. All problems start with the British.
well that’s one of a few misconceptions you have. Also an interesting choice of words. Because prior to, and during British rule. Palestine never existed. Period. And had they tried to give peace a chance, longer than 24 hours….who knows what Palestine might look like today.Prior to the Brits controlling Palestine, that area was under Ottoman control and called something else. The Brits promised the Arabs in the area their own state if they took up arms against the Ottoman Empire.
