A high-ranking Israel Defense Forces (IDF) commander said that US weapons left in Afghanistan were found in the hands of Palestinian groups active in the Gaza Strip.
The commander told Newsweek that Israel is concerned over the risks of weapons provided by the United States and other Western nations to Ukraine ending up in the hands of Israel’s foes in the Middle East, including Iran.
This Israeli commander added that some of the US small arms left in Afghanistan have already been seen in the hands of Palestinian groups active in the Gaza Strip.
With the withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan and the collapse of the Republic, all the military equipment provided by the US and Western countries fell into the hands of the Taliban group.
Now Israel, one of Washington’s major allies in the Middle East, is worried about US weapons and equipment falling into the hands of its “enemies” in the region.
Earlier it was claimed that some of these weapons reached the hands of militants in Kashmir.

I understand the image you are painting and it's real.
However, I think most of those 250 mm Muslims go about their business with little regard for Israel. The problem for a long time has been governments financing unemployable young men to carry out violence against Israel.
He's also senile, not the smartest, a narcissist and has little government experience, aside from the 4 year dysfunctional freak show of his presidency.
My understanding is that Hamas runs Gaza as an armed ideological dictatorship and suppresses opposition ruthlessly.
And Hamas survives through financial backing from Iran and other shit disturbers.
And the Gazans cannot leave Gaza. They are trapped.
So Gaza is a permanent threat to Israel. And yes, most Gazans would probably want to move to Cairo and start a deli or a shoe store there and forget the entire mess. But they can't.
No offense to Canada, but I never met a person who entered their family's legacy business who didn't believe they had some special talents conferred at birth. In the business of politics, the trick is to make it look like you don't believe that.
This is where the nasty business of negotiating cash for hostages could become problematic. Some might object to this statement as criticism of the Biden Administration, but it's simply the general nature of hostage negotiations...........damned if you do, damned if you don't.
I will pray for their safe return home.
Does Israel have a "no negotiations" policy?
I'm guessing it does. Otherwise, hostage fees would eat up a chunk of the Israeli state budget.
I didn't mention this because it has to be the case.
Barring a daring raid, I'm not sure how Israeli hostages are returned.
