Every province tries orange sometime. Alberta, BC, even Ontario. Most give it up shortly.

Its like pegging. They try it, but then quit because they got fucked in the ass.
Cos Duggo is so much better, right?

They have already committed to searching that dump for those two women’s remains.
Could cost up to $180 million according to the feds.

NDP isn’t something new, they’ve held power about 65%- 70% of the time since 1969.
They’ve been the problem The last 50 years not the solution. Way way way to many civil service drones doing nothing.
Winnipeg is a little smaller than Mississauga and we have 7 school divisions, 43 school divisions in a province of 1.4 million people. One rural school division only has 800 students.
There are 5 separate health management agencies for a population that equals Peel region.
We are so over loaded with Bureaucracy there is nothing left for actual services, every time the PC try amd fix it they get voted out.

It's not just MB. Everywhere in Canada, at every level of government, we have created such a large civil servant class that they are able to, more times than not, vote in governments who simply will not deal with government waste. It's a death spiral for this country.

This is something that’s little understood I think.

“Where’s the beef”
By the time you get past salaries/benefits
Debt service cost
There’s not a lot of the pie left.

Then conservatives come in and say they will cut.
But the cut nurses and teachers instead of admin.
Every time.

Backlash victory.

Previous Premier made a controversial statement offending Natives. The NDP leader is Native.

Do the math.

Interesting viewpoint. I once considered Winnipeg as a place to move to and noticed they had 5 or 6 hospitals. I interpreted that as a positive because it suggests they have more than enough bandwidth for patients (unlike the GTA), but I guess it has it's downfalls.

I ended up not considering because of the lack of jobs.

Only two of the hospitals are full line hospitals and those are jammed full of crackheads, gangbangers and degenerates most days. The ERs are something out of a horror movie on a Sat night. There are 3 urgent cares which would be fine but people use them like a walk-in so expect 10 waits.

Even that is way better than Ontario, where DoFo cuts have closed emergency rooms, cut ambulances and the number of people walking out of emergency rooms without seeing any care has doubled in the last year.

You keep repeating that Frank. It doesn’t make it true. There’s a world of difference between cutting healthcare expenses, and keeping up with healthcare expenses.

Read the Ontario budgets every year, or in this case the FAOs findings. Actually read it. If not that, at least look at the included GRAPH.

Further, the ministry of healthcare is huge. It’s the biggest slice of the pie. There’s Doctors, Nurses, Surgeons, lab techs, radiologists, diagnostic imaging, anesthesiologists, equipment, Porters, security, LTCs and PSWers and H1…Plus WAY More. Before Ford was even elected….800,000 tax paying Ontarians could not find a GP….

While some small widgets within healthcare have seen their budgets frozen or cut, others haven’t or they are getting more…..

Why are RNs overworked, dropping like flies, and ERs have to close on certain days. Theres not enough staff. Trust me, I know. I’m in them some days…have also been in uniform, seriously hurt, and had to wait 8 hours (from 7pm until 3am) for someone to come in do a cat scan on my head…and the results...

And why is all that?
A- population growth and
B- not enough money to hire what’s needed on a yearly basis, to keep up ( RNs per capita)
C- 2003-2017 and who/what you voted for.

Ontario spends the least per capita on health care.
And still DoFo is cutting spending.

That is entirely his mandate and choice.

Whatever Frank. You are beyond seeing reason per se.

And for what it’s worth. So did Wynne. Aka not enough money to keep up…

aka Don Drummond.
