Three British news organizations reported Saturday that comedian and social influencer Russell Brand has been accused of rape, sexual assault and abuse based on allegations from four women who knew him over a seven-year period at the height of his fame.

I don’t like Russell Brand’s views/politics…but that doesn’t make him guilty of sexual assault.

On the other hand, 4 women coming forward describing similar complaints from around the same window of time seems like more than coincidence.

At the end of the day, I think what I always think about these accusations: they should be taken seriously and it’s best to reserve judgment until they have been investigated.

I’m not sure what that would mean in this case, though. Who is going to investigate these allegations? Are these women filing a criminal complaint? A civil suit? Do they just want to see Brand get cancelled from his platform?

I dunno…we’ll see.

Not at all , I know of his past. He admits to get smashed in the past. I find him funny but I'm aware of his past so I wouldn't be surprised if it happened. You think its a conspiracy of four women that got together to "get" him and the report at the rape center is a fake?

He's actually less popular than he used to be a few years ago. What I said in my posts in the other thread which I started on the Brand allegations..... He has five women accusing him of rape. And a number of work acquaintances saying he was creepy, entitled and sexually toxic.

Are all of those people bribed by "the Deep State" to chase down a single whiny, pose-y, nouveau-righty podcast dude???..... Think this through. Who would bribe them? Who would organize, choreograph and deploy them? Wouldn't the risk of one of them backing out and blowing the whistle make the enterprise too shaky to see through?

Isn't it far more likely that Brand actually, really is a rapist?.... I mean, rapists exist, right? They're not an invention of the fake news media?
