There are several trivia threads in the Sports Discussion forum:

all dormant since June, 2019.

This thread is in The Lounge, it's not specific to any one sport, and it was started in March, 2020, so that made it New at the time.

I don't know why you didn't understand. What are you, new?!

Lighten up dude. It was simply a lighthearted post based on a play of words if "new" was adjectival to sports as opposed to the obviously intended "trivia". There was no actual misunderstanding.

This former NHL first round pick shared a surname with two NHL hall of famers. He also shared a jersey number and birthday(not birth year) with one of them. Who is he?
ANSWER: Angelo Esposito.

Angelo was drafted 20th overall in 2007 by the Penguins out of the QJMHL. He shares a surname with Phil and Tony, but is not related to them. He wore number 7 like Phil, and shares the birthday of February 20 with Phil. He was highly touted at the beginning of his junior career, but unfortunately never played a game in the NHL. Ironically, although he is not related to Phil and Tony, he has Uncles with the same given names.
