I’d call BS on that last stat, and China has a 20%+ youth unemployment rate, specifically among the well educated graduates.
You are right about the declining birth rates which if they continue may cause China to go the way of Japan. However unlike Japan, China is building up massive infrastructure in Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe and Africa.as America contracts.
The international Chinese market expansion may offset their domestic malaise and the CCP would be quite content to see a further reduction in the Chinese population .

I have to pause on America's Second Amendment when I see PRC soldiers and security personnel brutally stomping the heads on unarmed Chinese citizens who want to air their grievances publicly. They will experience difficulties but will be fine.
There are differences. In the banking system and how mortgages work. In labour laws. In immigration laws. Cultural differences. In raw materials, food chain, energy production. In the possibility of social unrest.

The world is turning away from China, they’ve proven a predatory trading partner, they also have not climed the value chain. Italy just departed the Belt and Road project. Japan has threaded the demographic needle by moving manufacturing to consuming countries and keeping the highest value activities domestic. China doesn’t have the skills to pull this off.

The CCP keeps power by fulfilling a grand bargain of delievering citizen economic sucess for taking control of many aspects of peoples lives. They are about to default on the first part of the grand bargain.
