Hasn’t juliani at some point close to Jan 6 said something like “if we lose this we will go to jail”. So just go motherfucker.
Their defense is that the 1st ammendment allows them to lie about whatever they want with no consequences. Its the fake electors that create an issue here. Fox is now calling them 'alternative' electors. One other interesting thing is a judge threw out a lawsuit against Trump saying the president has the right to lie and defame people. The funny part is the c0ns are wanting to impeach Biden for lying, so its interesting to see how they justify that Trump is allowed to lie but Biden should be impeached for lying.

Alternative electors, alternative facts. You say potato ...

You seem to expect consistency from a party now build on lying, hypocritical and situational ethics and morality.

Someone has allegedly already flipped (if I recall correctly), which means the lot of 'em could face the consequences. More charges are going to come out of this. Now...will this stop Trump from getting the GOP nomination? Who knows. I think we can safely say that he is running....for his life. I'm sure he'll hope to use the campaign to stave off eventually being found guilty, or will try to pardon himself...Except for the tricky business of the state charges, which he cannot touch.

I think the best case scenario for America is if he loses the GOP nomination. First, despite the current polls, I don't think he could be Biden. While they are statistically tied, the number of independent or undecided folks is quite large....and there is a very strong chance they would reject Trump even if they aren't thrilled with Biden. Would another GOP candidate have a better shot of winning in 2024? Hard to say, and I guess it would depend on who they were. But, right now there are a lot of conservatives who do not like what has happened to the party, and are either not voting at all, or holding their noses and voting democrat.

They are consistent liars and deniers. That piece of garbage Turley or whatever on fox already has his verdict in - Trump won't get found guilty of sedition - he isn't even charged with it. In fact the entire GQP uses the following formula ,- Charges against Trump - fake
Claims by felons paid by the G0Pee - totally credible

It's a guaranteed loss no matter who they have and they can thank Trump. To get his base someone woild have to lie for him and say he will be pardoned - this will seem disgusting to the 81 million plus sane voters in the us

It's not that hard to understand, Trump is The King of Kings while Biden is just an old man. Biden deserves the death penalty, The King of Kings walks on urine.

That's a good point. Most of the candidates (with the exception of one or two) have pledged to pardon Trump if they win and he's convicted. Which is, frankly, galling. I mean, the allegations of what he did are shocking on many levels, and in the security/classified docs case, he may have put American soldiers/spies in real danger. And, let's face it, there is a good chance some even more shocking revelations will come out about what he did...

It reminds me of that show that used to be on TV called America's dumbest criminals. Donnie takes the cake ! Admitting to crimes when you know your being recorded is the stupidest thing I have ever heard of. He admitted to sexually assaulting e Jean carrol at his disposition, he admitted to having classified military documents, and now we get to hear all his election shenanigans

He is the definition of hubris. He is so confident in his base that he does not believe there is a jury which will convict him. His strategy is clearly to put everything off beyond the election and ultimately go for what is called jury nullification or a hung jury. He and hid lemmings will then treat a hung jury as complete vindication.

He knows a significant percentage of the Rs will believe anything he says no matter how hypocritical or stupid or logic-defying. And he knows Fox-Breitbart etc will also not challenge his bs. So he'll frame it incorrectly (eg, it's only about documents, and Biden had documents! Vs obstruction of justice, which it is really about. The current is its about speech, when its not speech but all the actions taken).

He didnt do too well in the E Jean Carroll lawsuit with the jury and these cases are way tougher to prove than a civil one but when you have his own words and dozens of people telling what he was saying and doing behind closed doors its as much evidence as catching a bank robber at the bank on video with the stolen money in his little hands

Jury nullification means that jury or a juror knows that the crime was committed and proven but refuse to convict because of their own internal bias.
This is something that his lawyer would not be able to directly argue for because it’s not legal.
But if a juror is enough of a Trump supporter it always can happen.

I think the best would be if one of his kids rolled on him.
There's always that risk one of his kids would roll on him and that would be a big time turn of events...on the other hand...Hunter could easily turn on Daddy Joe if the price is right....these politicians have a way of raising their kids...

The good old “flood the zone with shit” strategy is tested and true and also it is all he has left.

I agree but you can't hang a civil jury and the burden of proof is much higher in a criminal trial. Time will tell.
