Stared at this one for a long, long time, as it frustrated me as I stared at that big 1997 season -- I think its Tino Martinez. Took him a while to get going in Seattle.

For some reason I had in my head that Tino had a 50 HR season and I dismissed him every time I looked at this one. But his peak season may have been that 44/141

Marquis Grissom.
Must have missed this one earlier. He was an outstanding defensive CFer on those 1992-1994 Expos, great base stealer as well at the time, with some pop.

It was nonsense that he was traded to the Braves for a washed Roberto Kelly and Tony Tarasco -- but then again other than 1996, Marquis was never the same player that he was on those 92-94 Expos. Anybody that knows me, knows that I hold those 3 expo seasons as my favourite as a Sports fan (recently had my license to be able to take the one hour drive to games).... of course until August 1994/

Clearly this is very serious business.
shack, I've had enough of your guff. Troll me one more time, EVER, and you'll go on my shit list. What that means is that I won't put you on Ignore, but I won't respond to any quoted post with text. I might respond with an image or a youtube video, or any of a number of things, if at all. I will also go out of my way to make you look foolish on this board whenever the opportunity presents itself, all for the amusement of other people, at your expense. You won't like it, but they will.

I don't want to have to do that, but I will if diss me again.

I don't chose my victims. They chose me.

I think you take yourself, and your questions, a little too seriously.

Will Clark. Recognize that 1989 season. 2nd in MVP voting in 1989 to his teammate Kevin Mitchell.
4 top 5 MVP finishes by the age of 27, seemed on track to potential HOF career.. but his power just stalled at that point and went in reverse..

I think I have went through all the blanks now... seemed to have missed page 162 almost in its entirety.

@maurice93: Jack Clark and Will Clark are Correct!

Jack Clark was notorious for not warming up before games. After signing a big free agent contract with the Yankees, he put himself on George Steinbrenner's shit list by pulling his hamstring in the last game of spring training, during a home run trot. He's one of the many athletes who squandered all of his money.

And what recently prior diss did I offend you with when you posted this seemingly out of nowhere? It seems like you're trolling me.

Duh.

I would have expected a reply like that to come from shack.

What's his name?

I don't know who, but he must have been one hell of a defensive player given the other abhorrent stats -- I'd assume a shortstop.. 6 career HR's, 7 career SB's. and a .552 OPS.
Duh.

I would have expected a reply like that to come from shack.

If he wasn't a good glove no hit shortstop, the only other explanations would be that he had married the team owner's ugly daughter, or he owned photographs of the owner in bed with a goat. That would be inconsistent with him having played for multiple teams late in his career.

maurice93's reply and yours are almost the same. The question is What's his name?, and neither of you knew, but you state details that are obvious.

There's no problem with looking up an answer if a question has you stumped. There's a big problem with posting an answer that you obtained by looking it up. Not only that, you posted that answer before most of the other players had a chance to see it.

A guy dying at the Olympic Games in Canada was a big news story. Most people forgot his name seconds after they heard it, because it was foreign and had a lot of syllables. It was a great trivia question for that reason, and you fucked it up because you didn't see What's his name? in extra large text.
