Ok, let's eliminate delivery fees although I believe Walmart if you sign up as a member and spend over $30 the fee is peanuts but let's go where most are free delivery with Amazon and most folks now have Amazon

Simple Joys by Carter's Baby and Toddler Girls' 3-Pack Bike Shorts : Amazon.ca: Clothing, Shoes & Accessories

IBAKOM Girls Long Sleeve Swimsuits UPF 50+ Sun Protection Two Piece Rash Guard Sets Toddler Floral Print Bathing Suit : Amazon.ca: Clothing, Shoes & Accessories

storeofbaby Girls Kids Summer T-Shirt and Shorts Set Casual Matching Outfits 4-13 Years : Amazon.ca: Clothing, Shoes & Accessories

this within a one minute search. If a parent can't find clothing that isn't too revealing for a child, it's the parent at fault.

In the meantime, the older young ladies, over 18 I encourage to dress as sexy as possible, please and thank you.
I’m not googling shit. I admit that. I’m smoking a joint in this yucky weather in Ottawa. You know me. I’m just debating a side for the sake of debate. I’m not really invested in it.

Like I said - I never bought my kid a two piece bathing suit.

Not true. This is an islamophobic conspiracy theory that has been debunked countless times.

Doubt it. Again, see my comment about "when extreme behaviours are ignored or brushed aside because, long term, it only hurts the groups that these very 'kind' people are trying to help" . This would be you.

This phenomenon is not a unique Muslim thing but is common to all larger groups of people who enter 'foreign' territory. The band together for common comfort, ignore the criminal elements within them because they offer 'protection' and are more willing to do violence and guess what? The criminal elements take over until they're suppressed. Thinking or arguing that Muslims are somehow immune (yet the Irish or Italians or Roma are not) from this phenomenon which has appeared again and again is hilarious.

There is plenty of evidence about no-go places France, Sweden, and the Netherlands. The article mentions the US which I don't think there are Muslim no-go zones because Muslims in the US have integrated quite nicely much to the concertation of extremists overseas elements (and local ones as well). This article defines "No-Go" as "barred entry" which is of course bullshit. "No-go" is the extreme reactions to police presence, and how comfortable the police and local authorities are going in there. In addition, the reactions to those who wander there at night who don't fit the prevailing culture. Definitions matter.

@Jenesis just for the record, if I did that through Walmart I'd probably be arrested for something, double standard is what the issue is here!!! ;)

Availability????? There were none of those there. Maybe only sold online???? Maybe parents can’t afford delivery fees??? Plenty of reasons that parents can be limited in purchasing control.

I’m not excusing parents. I didn’t buy my daughter a two piece. Her first two piece was when she was mid 20s. So I get it. But at the same time …. Options, from what I personally saw in the Ottawa Walmart were short shorts only. And I looked. I really did. I compared boys and girls, counted tank tops, etc. Like I really tried to find good clothing options.
Why limit looking for shorts that are for girls only? For young kids look at shorts for boys even for your daughter, find a pair that you like and that problem resolved. In fact, while I was growing up, I saw parents (mostly mom's) do this more than a few times.

As for grooming in general, we're all groomed in various ways even as we get older. That's why parents are there to guide their kids so we hopefully don't go down the wrong path. As long as we try to use common sense and don't vear into extremes of any kind then we should be okay...well, hopefully.

I'm a firm believer in the fact that it's up to the parents to set the examples for their kids to follow. Is this or will it ever be100%? No. But it's worked for the most part.

Again. This is an islamophobic conspiracy theory. I will not participate in a discussion organized around Hate Speech as it is a violation of terb’s terms of service.

First - the question should be why should a mother have to get “boy” shorts? Why do “girls” shorts have to made so short? Why don’t manufacturers make longer shorts for girls. There is not real difference in height and weight of a 3 year old boy and a 3 year old girl. It is not until a little later in youth does the differences in weight and height start to apply. So why even make the shorts that shirt to begin with? What is the purpose?

Second - with all the uproar about gender, parents could be setting themselves and their child up for harassment, labelling and bullying for putting their kid in the wrong gendered attire.

Again, I’m just debating the other side. My daughter was often dressed as a TomBoy. She was made fun of at times, ended up with more guy friends then girls but that worked out fine since she got first hand knowledge of what horny teenage boys are like and saved herself long enough to be able to be responsible with birth control. No teenage pregnancies here and I will take that as a win considering I was a homeless pregnancy teen.

I don't disagree but at the same time if I can find something for a daughter in the boys clothing then so be it. It would be nice if clothes and many other things were available for everyone/eveything but the reality is THAT WON"T HAPPEN and never will. It really comes down to social norms. In fact if some 1890's mother or father was around today, they'd think everyone was a sinful deviant for the way we dress.

Second - with all the uproar about gender, parents could be setting themselves and their child up for harassment, labelling and bullying for putting their kid in the wrong gendered attire.
Some clothing like shorts are just shorts and aren't gender specific. Granted there are some - and I don't understand the idiocy of a parent buying a young child short shorts - that are but I'm talking about an average everyday pair of shorts that you can't tell are gender specific. Heck even running shoes if you can't find a pair in the guys section look in girls section for a pair. Seen this happen a lot too and you can't tell.

What would some people do these days if some kids and their Parents of the '60s wore a tye died shirts that had colours on it similar to the pride flag? IMO people are way to sensitive/politically correct these days. Everyone just needs to cut the political - extreme right wing/left wing - BS and just live life to the fullest

And kids being kids tease and pick on each other because that's what kids do. Unless the teasing becomes more than that. Heck brothers and sisters are the worst for teasing each other but eventually it stops. If that teasing turns into something worse in the teen years, then it depends who it is and how it's handle. Sometimes teens being teens they beat the crap out of each other and if the one being picked on wins then the other one tucks his/her tail because he/she was put in his/her place.

Although I find this thread an interesting read it's becoming way off topic when political and gender specific talks about drag queens corrupting kids are the topic vs the wording of the thread about grooming kids with clothes.

It has been an interesting read and kind of a dual topic thread now. Which is kinda cool as long as everyone can follow along and make sense of it all. LOL.

I’m glad I brought the topic to the forefront and to be honest - I’m actually quite proud that we are 8 pages in and the mods have had no reason to shut us down. Is TERB evolving and becoming more mature????? Say it ain’t so! 😂😂😂😂😂

Just on the topic of “lack of choice” . I’ve mentioned demand/supply and marketing earlier. Someone else mentioned girls emulating older girls and filter down.

Maybe the question should be, “why are 30yr old mothers buying the shorts that drive demand?

We know it’s not the 3yr old, or dads.

Maybe because they were groomed when they were young and are just passing down what they know…….

Just a spitball idea….

 Yes, yes, because someone thinks that one group is magically immune from problems that have historically effected many, many other groups that live in poverty in many different societies across different time periods. People are people and suffer from the same problems. Omertà is not unique.

have to wonder. If by that age, it’s just “so ingrained” and then with marketing.

A friend of mine is an executive in a marketing agency. Some great discussions about different things.

And that is the thing. The fashion world changed in modesty over the span of the last 50 years. I don’t think there is any more material they can take away from our clothes anymore. Hems have gotten shorter and short, straps, tops, necklines, waistlines, etc.

So how much of it is just ingrained in us. I have no idea personally but it makes you wonder.

The dinosaurs were killed by a fucking asteroid dude. That is not the definition of evolution.

Compares apples to apples. Not apples to beef.
Whether it was an asteroid, a volcano or climate change, the Dinosaurs evolved to something that couldn't survive.

Evolution is not always a positive.

Wtf dude ?!?!?! LMAO. 😂😂😂😂😂

DINOs didn’t evolve. They got killed off. The whole planet was almost killed off. Who knows what they would have been if that asteroid didn’t it and what they would have evolved into. We could be a bunch of fucking lizard people right now because that is evolution. Not becoming extinct. Extinction is the opposite of evolution. LOL.

So…if you believe in human evolution, the fact that trans people have existed in cultures around the world for thousands of years would suggest that there is in fact tangible benefit and survival value to societies in having trans members.

In fact, historians and anthropologists have described numerous cultures in which trans members have played revered and important roles such as priests, healers, etc.

Well, if we have cultures were Trans people don't exist, does that also suggest there is tangible benefits to societies in not having trans members?

It's all subjective.

Evolution is not limited to the change of size and strength. We don’t know what they could have evolved into. We were once mindless apes. I would say apes are stronger then most humans.

But I’m not going to continue debating Dino evolution with you. Your motives for posting are clear. You sound silly AF with some of the shit you have said and this is not a topic about Dino evolution anyway.

So I will continue the rest of the gang - thanks for playing though. Want your participation ribbon? They come in purple only since I am handing them out. I know purple is a “gay” colour to some and I don’t want to possibly offend you. 😂

Evolution is not limited to, but it does include size and strength. What is ultimately being said is your Evolution could end up being the wrong path.

And evolution is a competition. Many other nations don't believe in this ideology and they are the ones that usually have 4-8 kids.

So you may think me for playing, but this was never a game.

But then again I could be all wrong, Who am I really? Everyone has an opinion, This is mine.
