What is it with the coddling of coaches. Rivera choked! Look at the previous play where he stops Springer at third -Both hands fully up and no doubt. On the Bichette play, he sticks one hand up after Bo is by him - so he and others can blame Bo.

And why don't the announcers or management talk about Manoah's weight? Somebody should have been on his fat ass and flabby arms.

Maybe, but have you seen his Marlins record??

Its hard to blame him for the Marlins managerial record. He wasn't give much to work with. In a couple of those seasons, the pitching staff was downright horrible. They've operated consistently with one of the lowest payrolls in MLB.

I was at the game vs. SF on Thursday night. The offense was pitiful against a no name starter. They mustered a total of 3 hits the entire game. But they did squeak out a win thanks to Vladdy.

Romano blew Sunday’s game again. Not sure what it’s gonna take for Schneider to realize Romano is not a tie game guy. What was that his first or second pitch today that was hammered?

See this is what makes me sick. Aside from the fact that these bums can’t cash in on runners in scoring position almost always, Romano will once again blow a game like today where he didn’t even blow a save….. then he will convert his next 2 save opportunities, and everyone will be singing the blues again, about how he is Canada’s man of the year. I am so sick of this clown.. I wish we had a high velo nasty individual coming out of there.

I'm going to assume they have the same pitch clock in AA as the majors.
And unfortunately, the smaller AA towns also have the same Olive Gardens. Lol never mind Manoah, if I had an Olive Garden everywhere I went…… I’ll be there all day, every day. Or Arby’s. Oh man, those US food chain spots can be delightful

There’s a rumour I heard saying that Manoah came into camp weighing 320 pounds this year. There’s a photo that I saw on The Walk Off podcast and now I can’t find it. It shows him in a tank top midway through his delivery. And he definitely weighed 320 pounds, or something like that in that photo. There’s a lot of belief out there that his issues have been conditioning related. Mix it in with the pitch clock…. and that’s a recipe for disaster.

Whats deliciously ironic is Manoah giving this guy shit for fat shaming, when it turns out he may have been right all along.
And now he's gonna have to eat crow and lose some serious weight or he wont be back in MLB 😂

Jays are 9-12 since putting Bass on waivers on June 9th.

I dont know what effect this had on the dressing room, but the stats speak for itself
This team absolutely stinks. Just when we think there’s a little light of hope at the end of the tunnel, they gets swept by the Red Sox at home. If they keep playing like this, I don’t want them to get a wildcard spot. I don’t want the head office or coaching staff to keep their jobs. I don’t want there to be a feeling of accomplishment this year. This team cannot build any momentum. I have been screaming all year (and winter) that they should not have fucked with the chemistry of the 2022 team.

I hate to say it boys, but I think it’s time to start thinking about being sellers at the trade deadline.

I'm not sure it's a factor. Bass' performance alone justifies his departure. With the Manoah's demotion, the Jays needed to add pitchers who can pitch more than one inning, and the more length the better. Bass had arguably the worst numbers of guys who usually pitch an inning or less.

The way I see it this team just may not be good enough period. Vladdy, Kirky, Espi and Romano are all performing below their best carreer year to date. This year's performance could be a truer reflection of what they bring to the party most years.

I am dissapointed that the Jays continue to make mistakes on the fundamentals and often beat themselves. Schneider has failed to deliver on this. While Varsho and Kiermaier field, run and execute the fundamentals better than Teoscar and Lourdes, the rest of the team has not hit or pitched well enough to make up for the power differential
