I guess here's my question for everyone that thinks these charges are politically motivated and that Trump is innocent...

If he was guilty, do you think he should be punished? Do you think Presidents and former Presidents should be immune from prosecution when it comes to keeping classified material after their term is up?

I saw a video of a guy saying if there was video evidence of Trump murdering someone, he should still be forgiven because he's going to "save America". That seems crazy to me. Do any of your believe that?

It's possible this is a nothing burger. It's possible Trump did nothing wrong. But if he did, do you think he should face punishment? And if you say no, is it just Trump that's immune or who else should that apply to?

I'm genuinely curious what the Trump supporters think here.

I think the whole notion of assuming or seriously considering that trump might be guilty constitutes heresy and when you propose it their brains automatically switch to whatabout mode.

They've had 4 years of hard core conditioning that the media lies to them, there is a deep state conspiracy and only the rapist can save democracy.
Every court case then becomes confirmation of this narrative, that everyone is out to get dear leader and they need to take their guns, tiki torches and red caps out to save 'democracy'.

So telling them that the rapist is using donated money to pay for the rape settlement while he appeals is as effective as telling them that the rapist leaked the tape that proves he's guilty of stealing nuclear intel and bragging about it at a party.

Interestingly enough whenever I ask, no one answers. It's almost like they don't want to say anything just in case.

There not much one can say. The evidence is there and he is the most obvious charlatan on the face of the planet.
