Worst toronto sportscasters?

It's time to move on from Jamie Campbell, he's downright awful. His constant singing is annoying, just too nerdy and annoying. Other notables, Sam cosatino, Jeff Blair is an interrupting loudmouth. Time to move on from Ron Maclean, I also find Jeff Marek annoying as fuck.

Glad Micheal Landsberg is gone.

I do like nick kypreos.

Kypreos sucks.

The worst by far is Craig Simpson. As per Arthur Pewty's life from a Monty Python skit said, "it is duwh, duwh, duwh" as in DULL with a very heavy British accent. And he giggles when he talks even though he's saying nothing funny. He's like the hockey version of Mayim Bialek who also giggles whenever someone hits on a Daily Double on Jeopardy and other inappropriate times.

Ben Wagner is just another robotic game caller. Similar to Alan Ashby in his description of plays and voice tone. These guys call a baseball game like a football game,
there needs to be some humour, irony and some other words other than calling exactly what is happening at the moment.
Loved Scooter Rizzuto and Tony Kubek. Ben Wagner sounds like an AI program calling the game......

Wagner is all short, staccato comments. There's no fluidity to his play by play.

I'll just say that he's still young and may refine his delivery over time. Dan is our amazing main man and if we have to deal with Wagner during Dan's times off, I can deal with that.

Wouldn't it be cool if in 15-20 years from now Dan is inducted into the HOF? He is ALLLLL class.

Ben Wagner is okay to me. He's the first Jays broadcaster in a long time who knows the difference between a ground rule duble and an automatic double. Not saying his predecessors weren't good, but they usually got that wrong.

Ron MaClean.....He's a lying weasel who can't be trusted.
Jeff Blair..........It's funny when Kevin Barker puts him in his place. Dude's got a face for radio.
Jennifer Botterill....An equity hire that has no idea about the pro game.
Jay Onrait...His act has worn thin over the years.

Dan Shulman ....He's the quintessential play by play man.
Nick Kypreos.....When him and Doug McLean converse it's pure gold.
Jennifer Hedger..True professional if there ever was one.
Evanka Osmak....Something about her enthusiasm and raspy voice.
Stephen Brunt....His intelligence shines through.
Paul Jones.....Great insight on the Raptors broadcasts

On the fence with:
Buck Martinez.....Supposedly he's a great guy in person but he's really guarded with criticizing the home team.
joe Bowen..........Pure homer but is an institution here.
Eric Smith.........Doesn't seem credible sometimes.

Dan Shulman is the gold standard for broadcasting, his coffee hue baritone gets your attention. That's the reason why ESPN is loathe to let him go.

Jays fans are spoiled, Ben Wagner is not Dan Shulman, I disagree with those who say he isn't any good. He has a strong masculine voice and he's paid his dues to be in Toronto, 11 years as the Buffalo Bisons radio man. He's not Shakespearean like Shulman who's voice dropeth down like gentle rain from heaven - he doesn't need to be.

On the flipside I'm disappointed that Jamie Campbell still hasn't punched Sid Seixeiro in the schnoz.

Arash Madani---Slow boring delivery, and he always seems to have a beef with management of every sports organization. Seems to think professional sports franchises are non-profit organizations with the sole purpose of pushing politically correct agendas.

Sid Seixerio---When he was in sports broadcasting went overboard to show how "woke" he was.

Sid was actually pretty good as Tim's side kick. His whole shtick was being the goofball. Some people just couldn't wrap their head around that.

Wagner is okay, Ben Shulman is pretty bad, and the worst part is we're going to be stuck with him because his dad is so damn good they would never do anything to piss him off.

I thought Mike Wilner and was okay on the Radio but they got rid of him.

Really??? That's your pet peeve?? They're pretty much same thing dude...

And I don't even know how you would pick up on that as automatic doubles are pretty rare unless calling games for the Cubs.

Rumours circulated about how he is some undercover creep, and he vanished off the face of the year for the last last 30 plus years.

Darren Dreger. I feel that he is just bullshitting his way through just to remain significant. When someone cites "sources close to this or that" as much as he does, sounds like bullshit. Maybe if he were to name one of these sources, I might believe it. I think his sources are just google or twitter. And he's an asshole with an asshole face, IMO.

But that's me. Others might like the guy.
