LOL! Thanks, he's probably looking at this post with a microscope right now. We, maybe me have to be extra careful now because TERB's "typo policeman" is on the job. Whew, that was a close one.

BTW: I feel a lot safer now I got you guys looking out for me.

BTW 2: I don't peruse that many posts (too busy being mall cop) but I found 3 typos by 2 members earlier to-day.
Next time I'm at the PotatoHead pub you can buy me a beer.

And Vegas has an owner, who, above all else, wants to win. When Vegas joined the league, the owner said he wanted to win the Cup within six years. He's done everything to help his staff put together a winning team.

As opposed to partners who pretty much hate each other and are only interested in having you over pay for their shitty 5G networks. And before that, a teachers pension who's only objective was to maximize earnings (so why spend when the money is coming in anyways). And let's not forget Ballard.

I think the best sports franchises are those that are individually owned rather than corporate. The individuals all made their money elsewhere and just want to win. Maybe they should adopt the NFL approach in the NHL, that is, ownership is individual, not corporate (at one time, not sure if its still like this).
Kind of reminds you of the Red Wings and Mike Ilitch, eh?

not always sure...
Florida is winning the cup this year. Doesn't look so bad for the Leafs, maybe the core 4 returns for another year.
I take it you haven't watched any of the western conference final?
Florida was completely outmatched.
In retrospect, the Stanley Cup was decided in a heated, hard-fought series between Vegas and Dallas in the western final.

For those who watch teams other than the Leafs, honourable mention goes to Edmonton, Seattle and Colorado.

It's unfortunate Boston played the first round with an injured goaltender, they deserved better.

Possibly one of the worst Stanely Cup Finals in NHL history.
Why didn't "Bob" play like that against the Leafs?

So, I invited tml to lunch and drinks at the PotatoHead Pub. He 's taller than I had thought. A real babe magnet. The ladies couldn't keep their hands off him and he couldn't keep his hands off them.

Just 6 years in the NHL. In a city where no one plays hockey. And they win the Stanley Cup over a team from another city where no one plays hockey. A complete indictment of the NHL

Actually, I think the NHL is happy that two American teams were in the Finals and of course one won. I also think that the NHL is happy the two teams are from Vegas and Sunrise to expand the viewing audience in non-traditional hockey regions. I think Bettman's dream Finals would be L.A. and NYC.

Last Canadian team to win the CUP was in 1993.

Somebody mentioned that 24 players for Vegas are Canadian. Of anything, it's an indictment of the management north of the border.

It was noticeable during the congrats handshakes just how much bigger the Vegas players are compared to the Panther players. Maybe size does matter although there are some really good smaller players too.

To bad Ted Turner has dementia and can't appreciate what's happening with his sports channel, Chuck on The NHL Face Off on TNT. Probably the best way to promote the sport.

Way to take what is a wholesome new tradition in the Stanley Cup celebration and turn it into something potentially dark !!
You are a master of high-jacking threads into the realm of the absurd.

Reminds me of your pointless, completely off topic and inane sidetracking of the Guy Lafleur memorial thread into a totally irrelevant discussion of where to get the best bagel in the Montreal area.

And you wonder why Shack picks on you !! Self awareness can be a liberating thing - you may want to look into that before your next post.

I only posted that because a member posted a pic of a child with visible genitalia.

Hope there is no need for a more explicit explanation.
