Wait you smell the fires from Toronto?
I now live in Quebec about 600 kilometres from Sept-Iles's huge fire and we are under a smoke smog
I think I will rethink my retire plan and just buy a van and live the van life for my retreat. It will be cheaper and I will be able to move away quickly as the frequency of floods and fires is rapidly growing.

Yeah its everywhere too. I feel guilty saying this but I really like the smell too.
I've noticed that as well. My allergies have been terrible right now with all the pollen and dust in the wind. I thought it was just related to that.
