I did not invest in a stable, but spent a lot over the years.

Good pointDon’t forget that some have been hobbling for 30 years.
Even at $1000 per month it’s $360,000

Only if you're talking about money as ROI. I see it as more of an investment in mental and physical health. Make sure the plumbing is functional and scratch an itch for what you crave with some cheap gratification, instead of craving for what you can't have.Calling it an investment is a joke. ROI is zero.
Except they’re not mutually exclusiveOnly if you're talking about money as ROI. I see it as more of an investment in mental and physical health.
But better than smoking or drinking as a diversion.
Yeah, I know. But an investment is most commonly referenced as a monetary payback somewhere down the road. Otherwise it is simply another purchase that deals with an instant need.Only if you're talking about money as ROI. I see it as more of an investment in mental and physical health. Maybe not an investment like education or going to the gym.

If you insist.Yeah, I know. But an investment is most commonly referenced as a monetary payback somewhere down the road. Otherwise it is simply another purchase that deals with an instant need.
I am curious about something.Roughly 10-30% of what the divorces have cost my closest friends who never once cheated on their wives and lived through sexless marriages until the wives (in all cases) initiated the divorces.
Initially a few did. Then the classic mutual decision to have 'mom' stay home full time for 10-15 years raising the kids creating the extreme income imbalance that results in the divorces we all hear about.I am curious about something.
Did these wives have University / College education?
Did they have good jobs making 50% more than minimum wage?
Well that’s a good point. Assuming she’d get less money at time of divorce due to funds having been spent on Coco, Kiki and Cici’s services… In a way, your “future ex-wife” is actually covering half the cost of your SPs.Well, you could always get married and get divorced, and then be paying all that money you spend on Sps in Allomony.
Basically what I meant was that it would be good to avoid over-investing:Yeah, I know. But an investment is most commonly referenced as a monetary payback somewhere down the road. Otherwise it is simply another purchase that deals with an instant need.

A relative of mine is going through a similar sexless marriage. I really don't know whether it's better to sleep alone on a sofa...It's a sad day your buddy gets you to go sofa shopping for his basement only to realize he's testing them out to sleep on since that is where he ends up most of the time.
I know a couple married for 20 years, haven't slept together after 6 months. And they knew this would happen or wanted this because both have some weird Mental, emotional issues. The marriage was of convenience not love. No kids btw.A relative of mine is going through a similar sexless marriage. I really don't know whether it's better to sleep alone on a sofa
or share a bedroom with a wife you barely talk to.
