I remember when the classical idea of a beggar was someone down on their luck, sitting homeless on the streets, begging for a scrap of change.
So...does anyone else find it strange when SPs are begging for goodies on twitter? "I chipped my nail polish, won't someone pay for a manicure?" complete with pleading face. Or, "I'm in love with these shoes, someone buy them for me ASAP!"
Relative to the general population, SPs tend to be well off. So I'm really just bemused by the behavior. For the record, there's only some SPs who do this, but they also tend to be the well known ones, which makes it even more bizarre.

I imagine it's because of the nature of the industry, where the client base tends to be very well off, and also older and therefore maybe more traditional about male/female roles, but I still find it a funny observation.

For me, it's a massive turn off. I don't care how hot you are, or how good you are in bed, that kind of behavior is really telling as to what sort of person you are fundamentally. At best, it's selfish and gratuitous behavior. At worst, it's purely exploitative and predatory. Personally, if I know that's an SP's mercenary mindset and approach, I cannot bring myself to be intimately involved with her. It's not a question of affordability as money is absolutely not my concern; it's more basic - it's trusting that that individual won't do whatever it takes to get my money (or some derivative), even if that might mean putting me personally at risk or bringing me harm. In summary, feel like SPs like that are con-artist fraudsters preying on the weak minded and/or emotionally vulnerable.

At what point do you find the behavior bemusing? You really can't apply normal standards to the the situation. I would have thought the whole " will have sex for money with complete strangers" thing kind of bemusing if you are judging by normal standards.
Anything more is just part of their charm.

It is a massive pet peeve and a turn off. One of the most infuriating is when the tweet is worded - "When he books blah blah blah....<3<3". Oh really? I have been researching some SPs and this exploitative and gold digging behaviour is keeping me from booking them.

I take pride in having a disposable income and being able to make my own purchases. I've gone through very hard times and would have rather starved than beg on the internet. If someone wants to give me something, I appreciate it but it's not required. Another peeve I have is girls complaining about gifts they received. The lack of class and graciousness is repellent.

Santa Baby: Lyrics

Ba-boom
Ba-boom
Ba-boom
Ba-boom

Santa baby, just slip a Sable under the tree for me
Been an awful good girl
Santa baby, so hurry down the chimney tonight

Santa baby, a '54 convertible too, light blue
I'll wait up for you, dear
Santa baby, so hurry down the chimney tonight

Think of all the fun I've missed
Think of all the fellas that I haven't kissed
Next year, I could be just as good
If you check off my Christmas list

Santa baby, I want a yacht, and really, that's not a lot
Been an angel all year
Santa baby, so hurry down the chimney tonight

Santa honey, one little thing I really need
The deed to a platinum mine
Santa baby, so hurry down the chimney tonight

Santa cutie, and fill my stocking with a duplex and checks
Sign your "X" on the line
Santa cutie, and hurry down the chimney tonight

Come and trim my Christmas tree
With some decorations bought at Tiffany's
I really do believe in you
Let's see if you believe in me

Santa baby, forgot to mention one little thing
A ring, I don't mean on the phone
Santa baby, so hurry down the chimney tonight

Hurry down the chimney tonight
Hurry, tonight

I was a personal friend on facebook of a stripper. She told me before she accepted me to be chill about her stripping, this wasn't a work account.

At one point she wanted money to help repair her bathroom, think she started a go fund me. The one response was a dude telling her that adults pay their own way and she should adult [in basic terms]

Ai it was a ting of beauty it was.

fairly common among sex workers. They all have a wishlist etc. I guess there’s a market for this. This is common on OF as well, sugar dating etc. Simping has no limits.

I saw a few sps with “fin-dom” where the client gives the sp their banking info or control over their accounts/spending.

That was quite interesting.

When a Peeler asks for a tip I reply

“Here’s a tip…don’t eat the yellow snow”

What I can’t stand is point of sale charitable donation requests at retail stores like Walmart or any Loblaws affiliated stores. Walton and Weston families FFS

This is me too.

I only ever ask for money when it is to donate to a cause I am supporting. Thanksgivings and Xmas baskets for single mothers and kids. Cancer runs. Stuff like that. Then I would use my platform (when I was on Twitter) because that is what a platform should do. Be able to bring good to the masses, not to myself individually and selfishly

I get paid a pretty penny as an escort. If I can’t afford my own manicure - I am doing something wrong. And I know some will say “well if someone is going to pay for you, then take the money” but I appreciate my clients too much to have that type of narcissistic opinion about them and their hard earned money.

Hell - even my “wishlist” on my site (which I only post because so many clients ask) is all about coffee k-cups and chocolate bars. Bring me a box of Van houtte and snickers and I will be your best friend. LOL.

I don’t do deposit because I hate the idea of holding someone else’s money. I never asked my parents for more than $20 in my life and I carry no debt because it gives me anxiety. I’m great at making money because I am horrible at taking it or asking for it.

There was a time when people were restrained by their surroundings. Such behaviour was limited by the need to actually go out on dates with men to enjoy the benefits of being lavished with attention and gifts. This would often involve unspoken trade. The expectation of dinner for sex is heavily criticized, but milking men for gifts online is fair game.

The internet has changed everything. While social media is destroying the self-esteem of women (and people more generally), young attractive women have unfettered access to men, attention and potential for material gain. There is also the infrastructure in place that encourage the behaviour and seeks to profit off it.

A young, attractive woman can get thousands of followers on Twitch, for example, in a short period of time. Men will spend thousands on subscriptions, donations, and gifts via wishlists in an effort to be merely acknowledged. The Twitch algorithm will detect if you have been viewing Asian women streamers, and start to recommend more of them. There are dedicated apps to support donations, wishlists, and food delivery. Lo and behold, these women are uploading sexy, if not outright risque photos in their ecosystem (i.e., discord, IG) as part of their streamer band.

If they can profit off their sex appeal, can you blame them? These women typically are not making a fortune, but there is always a handful of infatuated followers that will drop cash. It’s not surprising that some sex workers are doing it. They do it because they can.

Maybe it is a newer generation thing then. I believe in earning my way. If these women are selling on OF or as sex workers - that is work and exchange of money for goods or services but the asking for money to pay for a mani and pedi - without giving anything in return - is just offside to me. But that is me.

I’ve never understood this stuff. There seems to be a large community of guys on social media who enjoy buying gifts for SP’s. It seems to be a turn on for them…or maybe part of the foreplay? I dunno…but the guys seem happy and the SP’s are happy to help them out so it seems to work for those involved. I wish them well.

If you are ever the last appointment of the day, you will see all the stuff her earlier clients gave her. Flowers, chocolates, liquor, teddy bears, etc., etc.

They think you're stupid. They are lazy. They don't pay income tax on the cash you did. They are on government assistance paid for by you.
