Justin Verlander and Max Scherzer
Correct.
Up until the end of 2021 it would have been 3 as Jake Arrieta also accomplished this feat.

St. Louis Blues.
Correct. The St. Louis Blues made the Stanley Cup finals three straight seasons from 1967-68 to 1969-70 but got swept in 4 each time.

Who was the last member of the 1977 Toronto Blue Jays to play in the Major Leagues?
I remember the early Jays having many catchers early on who would have nice journeyman type careers.

Not sure if they were there in 1977 but my guess is either Alan Ashby or Rick Cerone.

Which NHL team surrendered five empty net goals in the same game?

Correct!

Last game of the 1969-70 season, the Canadiens needed either a tie or to score five or more goals to make the playoffs. They were losing 5-2 when they pulled their goalie with more than nine minutes left to play.

As an Expos fan, I know that Rick Cerone played for the 1992 Expos - not sure if Alan Ashby lasted that long with the Stros.

So my answer is Rick Cerone.
