When someone has an ulterior motive (like being at the top of a field they had no previous success in, getting a lower sentence in a court case, being a male sexual predator with more access to females, gaining vast amounts of attention, etc) there's good reason to be sceptical.

And that is exactly why the modern world is including trans-rights.

A huge part of the mental health issues is because they are forced to live in a body they don't relate to and told how they are a threat to society. All you're doing is suggesting society keep them in their marginalized box where any mental health struggles are magnified.
