And Judge drops charges "not enough evidence". Some reports say the killers are still working at the hospital. There were 2 witnesses even though killer's security camera friend moved away the camera from what it seems, IMO, a premeditated attack.
And Crown won't appeal the Judge's decision.I don’t know how a judge they had the right to drop this case from trial. There was enough to allow a jury to decide the merits of the case.
Well that I get. When you are told no by a judge, you don’t really fight it but I get your point. And Crown won't appeal the Judge's decision.
Maybe read the article fully? There were 2 witnesses and a coroner's report stating cause of death. (restraint asphyxia) which requires blocking one's airways for a LONG time in order to kill someone (I think like 4-5 minutes). That bitch pulled a Derek Chauvin on George Floyd and got away with it.I don't know all the facts but from the video - it is not enough for me. Did they turn the camera away so they could jump on her like a trampoline ? That would be speculation but not proof of a crime.
Except in this case, it was a 125 lb woman with COPD and potentially covid..... As I entered the room the patient - a very muscular man - looked at me in the eye and said 'as soon as I get free, I'm going to kill you'. I called the security to handle the situation.
I'm guessing that is the same case here. ...
You can hold down a small person long enough to handcuff them and not kill them. Suffocating someone to death requires doing that for 4-5 minutes. It did not take 5 minutes to handcuff a 125lb woman. Judge ruled "no evidence of excessive force" and dismissed a legit case. Screening out a case before trial like this is very rare.Yes, small people can put up a fight but sitting on a person with an already compromised respiratory system is a problem. Unless the woman was an immediate threat to other patients, they could have taken their time instead of Chauvining her.
This is Canada, not the litigious USA, it is hard to get money in Canada for this sort of thing. Even if you do it is a pittance compared to what is paid out south of the border. The judge knows a lot more than we do.
Did the family file a civil suit get money?
I agree with the plausibility of your post.I watched the video. This happed early in the pandemic. She was diagnosed (falsely according to the article) with covid in the hospital. The issue was her mask was around her chin in a common area. The reality was she already had a hard time breathing with COPD let alone with a mask thus why she was resisting wearing a mask. She was out in the common area because she was hungry according to the story likely because the food server staff didn't want to go in her room.
The security guards I'll assume thought she was a covid patient risking creating an outbreak in the hospital.
