Tate and his bro are detained again because he might flee the country. His own big mouth ratted him out on his plans to flee the country.

But their reason is that he has multiple passports and millions of $$$$ and will fuck off out of Romania within a couple of hours, if he is let out of jail. That's a good reason.
It's called the preventive arrest and it was widely practiced during the Communist days. It's a violation of the human rights and any civilized due process. But, as long as it keeps lefties happy, everything is peachy.

No. It's a standard procedure in all civil law countries. It's monitored by the judges. And it's capped at 6 months.

Are you suggesting that Tate is a "political prisoner"?.... If so, what are his political beliefs and how do they threaten Romania?

Oh, really? Imprisonment without charges is the standard?

JC, you missed the first couple dozen pages of this thread - the part where we discussed how the Romanian justice system works. Go back and read all the posts I made. Then you'll be a smarter guy.

It doesn't matter how Romanian "justice system" works, I've seen it in other communist countries. The point is that it violates human rights today just as it did 30 years ago. Regardless of how one feels about Tate who is a digital pimp. Oh, btw. He got locked up soon after he announced his conversion to Islam... in Romania.

jcpro - I assume you object to the French justice system as well, then?

I object to any "justice system" that incarnates without charges. Is that what the French do?

France, like the US and Canada, can arrest and hold you before formal charges are filed - depending on the circumstance.

I'm not sure of any system that never allows it.

It actually doesn't violate human rights, JC. Go read those links.

In those circumstances, the accused has the right to counsel. They're not even allowing him proper access to his own lawyer.

He knew these things when he chose to immigrate there. Now no one should complain. It is their system and their laws and there is a reasonable justification for those laws to exist.

"Proper access" you say?
So he has access, he just doesn't like the access he has?

LOL!! Yeah, try what they're doing over there in US or Canada. You ideologues would sacrifice your mother on the pyre of your madness. Sad.

The Tate Bros. has the means to flee the country, that is why they are incarcerated. It does not help that Andrew actually said that he would do just that if he was freed. In the end they have a long checklist of charges on what they can get these guys on. Human trafficking, tax evasion, money laundering and racketeering.
