Mitchell: Don’t you know that Fox News have been proven liars in the Dominion Voting Machines case? You should check it out; they are a bunch of lying d-bags.
Actually, you might have issue with Fox' commentators, but their anchors play it fairly straight. However, CNN and MSNBC anchors seem to offer a lot of their opinions and push opinion-driven agendas.

In any event, not sure what the Dominion Voting Machines have to do with the origination of COVID.

There was no evidence to support the lab leak theory at the time..........
Is this suppose to be clever manipulation? You continue throwing around the word evidence like you have some knowledge and insight on the origination of COVID.

Was there any "evidence" that supported the wet market theory at the time?

The Dominion case presents absolute and complete confirmation that Fox is a network of liars and the Rupert Murdoch knows it. I would not even trust Fox reporting on the score of a baseball game.

MSNBC hosts have OPINIONS that they present as being such; they do not traffic in lies and disinformation and they do not present their OPINIONS as facts.

Well I don’t know the answer to your question because I am not an epidemiologist specializing in the study of COVID…nor are you.

The people who do spend their lives studying such things by doing research and gathering evidence all believed at the time that the most likely explanation was that it originated in a Wuhan wet market.

The only people espousing the lab leak idea were nit wits who do their research on Facebook and don’t trust scientists because they think that they are all just a bunch of woke academics conspiring with George Soros to control the international banking system and turn their kids trans.

From the Wikipedia:

“On November 4, 2022, MSNBC informed her production staff that Cross's contract would not be renewed.[14] Variety reported that "executives at the network [were] growing concerned about the anchor’s willingness to address statements made by cable-news hosts on other networks and indulging in commentary executives felt did not meet the standards of MSNBC or NBC News",[14] while Black Enterprise linked the decision to Cross saying on a Comedy Central show just hours before that "Florida literally looks like the d--k of the country, so let's get rid of Florida" and "Let's castrate Florida".[15]

😱

I’d never heard of Tiffany Cross before you posted this. I work on Saturday mornings so I would never heard her show.

Anyway, sounds like Tiffany Cross was a straight savage…LOL…but she probably deserved to get fired.

Your faith in MSNBC (and CNBC for that matter) fully disclosing their bias is kind of sweet. I almost wish I could reach through the screen and give you a hug.

I think we are starting to see a pattern that the so called "scientists" are influenced by politics and cannot speak with certainty and confidence in this matter. What kind of evidence did they have at their disposal to make such declarations? That's all I have been saying all along.

You seem to de deferring to what you read and more importantly to what you want to believe. You fought the good fight KB. There is no shame in that. Contrary to what you might think, I really don't want to insult you.

FBI director says COVID pandemic 'most likely' originated from Chinese lab

FBI Director Christopher Wray said the COVID-19 pandemic was likely caused by a lab leak in Wuhan, China.

"The FBI has for quite some time now assessed that the origins of the pandemic are most likely a potential lab incident in Wuhan," Wray told Fox News in an interview that aired Tuesday. "Here you are talking about a potential leak from a Chinese government-controlled lab."

"I will just make the observation that the Chinese government, it seems to me, has been doing its best to try to thwart and obfuscate the work here, the work that we're doing, the work that our U.S. government and close foreign partners are doing. And that's unfortunate for everybody," he added.

Wray said the FBI has specialists who focus on "the dangers of biological threats, which include things like novel viruses like COVID, and the concerns that they [are] in the wrong hands [of] some bad guys, a hostile nation state, a terrorist, a criminal."

He also said that the Chinese government has been trying to block investigative work into the origins of the coronavirus.

Wray's comments come after the Department of Energy has also recently assessed that the COVID-19 pandemic was likely caused by an accidental lab leak in China.

The development was included in an update to a 2021 document made by Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines’s office.

The National Intelligence Council as well as four other government agencies assess at "low confidence" that COVID-19 originated as a result of natural transmission from an infected animal, but the CIA and other government agencies remain undecided.

According to the report, there's a consensus between intelligence agencies that the pandemic wasn't the result of a bioweapons program by China.

They don’t have to issue a bias disclaimer statement before every broadcast. Their bias is obvious; they make no effort to hide it.

But they don’t make up stories and knowingly traffic in election lies and conspiracy theories. They are so different at this point that it is difficult to even compare them.

Anyway…thanks for the virtual hug; it warms my heart to know we can still be nice to one another from time to time.

You do realize my only contact with Fox News is what I read here posted as either affirmative information or counter information by members here. At this current time, I don't give too much credence to Fox News, CNN and MSNBC. I now look for left wing-right wing confirmation on news information.

Nothing personal, but you should look at the world through your own eyes (seriously) and not through your belief or disbelief in what a news media source is telling you.

The FBI has "moderate confidence" that it was a lab leak. The CIA hasn't opined. These two are the preeminent U.S. intelligence agencies...
Have you looked at any of their sources?

The science doesn't back the claims. If you make an FOI request that provides some evidence, please share what you find. Until then, I'll follow what the science says.

I remember when Trump first started talking about the lab leak hypothesis- it was at the same time that he was minimizing the virus, refusing to wear a mask, encouraging people to inject themselves with bleach, etc.

Moreover, when Trump was asked why he thought the lab leak theory was valid his reply was that his opinion was based on secret information that he could not share. Then he started calling covid the “Kung Flu” and “China Virus” after specifically being asked not to out of concern about ginning up hate against Asian Americans.

So overall it looked like Trump was just spewing politicized bs like he always does…and in the absence of any other credible source supporting this idea everyone concluded that Trump was just lying again.

Now we have assessments of low to moderate confidence that perhaps it was a lab leak and the Trump supporters are all desperately trying to do celebration dances in the end zone? LMAO…Dude- check the scoreboard; you’re on the wrong end of a blow out and you don’t even know it.

😂
Sorry but it was the leftists who criticized Trump for politicizing the virus are responsible for politicizing the virus....somehow?
