The scientific community isn't a bubble because they constantly test each other's hypotheses and try to arrive at the best explanation that they can.
Since you are not a part of the scientific community (and likely never will be), I don't expect you to understand....

The issue in USA I noticed is there are lots of people who think knowledge is based upon who says it like it is some received wisdom (like the christian fundamentalists who simply have faith. However as they say at NASA - "in God we trust - all others bring data"). Scientists will change opinions as the data changes. Early in the pandemic the info about this brand new virus was not known so initial opinions evolved as the data emerged. However, the non scientists interpreted all sorts of malfeasance due to their ignorance of how science works.

Plus…though relatively rare, birds actually can interbreed (although not as often as dogs)…so now you have learned something new today.

The phrase was used by 4Chan trolls, which was then adopted by white nationalists to promote their white fragility, victimhood and hatred for other racial groups - particularly blacks.

Given this history and context, why would any black person even agree with the statement ?. Even so, 53% did.
To take his out of context, and to simply consider the phrase to be a benign statement is absolutely idiotic and purposefully malicious.
The right moral position, even for someone who is white, in this case, should be to not be okay with the term - "It is okay to be white". Not because it is not actually okay to be white, but because of what it ACTUALLY MEANS.
I've enjoyed Dilbert for years. Have never followed/listened to Scott Adams. Will continue today as I did yesterday.

Seems Dr. Robert Malone and Dr. Peter McCullough's hypotheses weren't considered as related to Covid treatment measures. As a matter of fact just the opposite. Along with any other medical professional who dared to question the ''science'' being pushed. Hmmm...
