Agree it was not good. People's expectations were sky high. What was that outfit she was wearing? Was she packing a parachute?

Lots of the dancers we were betting were dying for the showers after seeing the puffy outfits they were asked to move vigorously in.
The plastic red thing she wore to keep the lady puppies under control (and not risk a leak through) was a fine example of three d printing.
And the mummy tummy made her look tastily real.
Her music does not push my buttons however.

Nope not a fan of her music, Can't stand performers that have a gazillion dancers on stage. Apparently she lip synched.
Bring back performers that perform on talent alone: The Who, U2, Springsteen, McCartney...etc

Only thing I liked about the halftime show was the flying platforms. Other than that I was like, whoah, Rihanna got fat! Then I figured she must be pregnant. I'll bet the organizers were pissed... they thought they were paying for smokin' hot Rihanna not preggo Rihanna.
From my understanding it is the pregnancy that caused the boring show. Can you imagine if something happened to the baby while preforming?????
They should have recast this year and had her next year or the year after. We are woman, it sucks but pregnancy puts our lives on hold. That is what happens.

I only knew 3 of her songs, Work, Umbrella, and Diamonds. The rest was lost to me.
Not sure if she lip synched everything, but there were certainly lots of pre-recorded back tracks and during Umbrella she looked to be singing the chorus but then would stop and turn away, while the chorus kept going.
I'd go with mostly pre-recorded with some live mic.
Well I guess they can't all be Prince in the rain. Such a great halftime show where the music sounded live because it was live, with call outs, guitar solos and the thud of the microphone stand when pushed it over. That was epic Prince and an epic halftime show.

Great SB shows, Who, MCCartney and Springsteen , they all blow away any act with high wires and back up dancers.

I look at this for what it was supposed to be: A spectacular show for Apple Music the biggest name in music today. The Apple Music logo ran in the corner during the whole "show". I'm a subscriber because their library is huge and I find music to my liking which is not Rihanna. However for the millions of viewers who watch NFL and those who don't until Rihanna shows up, it delivered on a big statement by Apple...and it's not entirely about the iPhone, which is the vehicle for a steady stream of monthly revenues.
I recently saw a Bob Seger show, why hasn't he performed the half time show. He still has his voice.

I agree she sucked, the platform idea was nice, but she sucked. The game was good.
