As I understand it, the Biden campaign challenged the genuineness of the laptop and it was tagged as suspect by Twitter pending verification and as well, the sex scenes and nudity was blocked.

Yeah but they are tweeting and calling it "The Twitter Files". As if its new info that is just mind blowing in the way right wingers have been treated. Its such right wing/republican hit job. I wouldn't be surprised if Elon had secret talks with republicans before he took over Twitter lol to purposefully turn it into a right wing space.
Or he's being paid by Putin to push the GOP agenda because the GOP sucks Putin's dick.
The whole Elon takeover, with all his unbanning look like a republican hit job to me. Maybe he colluded with republicans before buying twitter to make it a right wing space. Wouldnt be surprised if that is what happened.
The posts are somewhat interesting as a peek into how things were discussed, but "there was a team and they discussed complaints that came in" isn't exactly a revelation or a scandal.
Exactly. He is just playing to his right wing audience and those guys are sitting there with their jaw on the floor as if this is the first time they are hearing about it.
This was the great insight the Right Wing had a while ago - you don't need to actually have a scandal. Just present things as if there is a scandal and hype the shit out of it.
It worked for years. It was even Trump's plan with both the Ukraine phone call (he told them to announce the investigation, not to actually do one) and the Big Lie (he told more than one person to just announce they had found some evidence or reason to question the results, he would take care of the rest).
The Hunter Laptop story pissed off the GOP and the frothy right so much because for the first time in about a decade, the MSM didn't bite. They remembered getting burned in 2016 and acted with a lot more caution about such a suspect story. That the MSM changed the rules and asked them for evidence was proof that they were unfairly helping the Democrats.
Another failed prediction. Just like Google has cut off the useless, lazy, woke affirmative action staff that contributed nothing to the company aside from quota statistics, Twitter keeps on running without a hitch free from the 80% of garbage they used to employ.
With your track record, it's a safe bet to take the opposing view on anything you say in law, business, sport, and politics.

To answer the Q: Will it survive? Very Likely, since The vast subscriber base it has accumulated, will allow it to sail through the turbulent waters brought in by the shake up of its Managerial hierarchy. Even if an alternative app is available, still it takes time to gather enough subscriber base to surpass it, as well as it takes time to accept the change. Not that I am a fan of its new Boss, though.
How long it took tiktok to take over as the leading social platform. It was quick because the platform is awesome.
The guy you lead the Twitter deal, and the guy who fucked Elon when he wanted to pull out of the deal, is Patrick Pichette.
Patrick was president of the board of Twitter. When he realized that a moron with a big ego made a formal offer about 38 billions over valued he went into full force.
Elon wanted to back out. Patrick made sure he could not and would give all those billions to his shareholders. I listened to Patrick's interview on radio-canada. He's still laughing. It's the deal of a life he made. Even tho he did not really needed it himself as he's already a billionaire for all the years he was a VP at Google.
Elon is fuck with Twitter. A new platform will emerge driven by calm and quiet owners who do not need the limelight.
