Opening the Overton window takes time if it's to be done at all. Those that push too quickly end up like Tate or worse.
Didn't know rape, sex trafficking and abuse were a means to "open the overton window" lol

The fact that she shows up in an anti Trudeau t-shirt also suggests that she's not really a courageous, lone crusader.

There's also the Rebel News reference which suggests that she runs with the pack.

What I want to know is why more teachers aren't supporting her if what she says is self-evident commonsense. Surely others would be joining in or standing for election to the OCT.

Again this would play a lot better if the news site didn't have ads for right wing Christian churches and attacks on Democrat leadership for being "weak on crime".

I'm happy to read this free speech stuff, but it comes over a lot better when it's not sponsored and supported by the usual right wing players. It makes me think that the facts are being censored and framed in a certain way.

IMHO, it would be a lot easier if a transgender female (who still had male anatomy), could either change in the male locker room, or in her own separate changeroom etc. This has nothing to do with trans people being jailed.

As DH just said, upthread. "Why should innocent women be exposed to male genitalia, in there own women's changeroom??

Yes, but the main stream media websites, would never report this stuff.

IMHO, more teachers don't support her, because they don't want the OCT coming after them as well.

Strength in numbers. There must be 50,000 high school teachers in ON. Why do NONE of them come out and support this lady, who happens to be associated with a lot of far right outlets and views. Something must be putting them off about her.

IMHO, most professionals are scared of going against there respective colleges. That's why I admire JP so much. JP has enough Fawk you money, to put the CPO through the ringer in court. 99.9% of other professionals, aren't in JP's fortunate position.

Peterson's page is like a garbage scow of right wing crap - anti global warming posts, anti COVID vaxx posts, posts that the Bidens are lackies of China, anti Ukraine posts.
Won't be long until he needs another trip to Russia to fix his addiction.

Most people can't be bothered. The LSO has a mandatory attendance policy of 1 hour in CRT / gay studies / native studies per year. They supply the free programs and you attend virtually... :ROFLMAO: 😸 :geek:

You know what happens of course. Everyone puts the video on, turns the sound down low and does some chores or watches TV. It's simply not intrusive enough to bother with. I would think most other professional associations are similarly restricted in the demands they make. And this makes me skeptical of that teacher and her lack of support. The CRT is either not that intrusive or she pisses off most of her colleagues and they don't want to touch her.

I can assume that Ontario schools are packed with every type of teacher - woke teachers who live every buzzword and conservative, skeptical teachers who think it's all shit. So why aren't some of those raising the topic politely in professional discussion groups?.... Because they're afraid? What if 1,000 teachers all asked for a "free and frank / no holds barred" discussion session. How could the OCT balk?

So I don't know what - if anything - I am missing on that. Like I said, I was supportive until I realized that she was on every alt white bandwagon she could mount and ride. And neither one of us has access to the social studies work on racism.
