Hell, in that video up in 522 he talks about how much he wants vengeance.
Come on now...He says he been unbelievably angry and he knows that isn't right. He states his desire for vengeance is inappropriate. That's quite a bit different than what you just said. His solution is to be make everything public .True transparency. He'll let the court of public opinion judge him.

Didn't he already make everything public?
What's left?

And yes, he is making a big performance about how he desires vengeance but knows it is inappropriate.
The point is to scale this as the kind of attack that would provoke a man to vengeance and milk that outrage machine.

I came across this on twitter, lost the link but someone alluded to Peterson basically being controlled opposition for everything that's going on today in Canada.
What's going on with Peterson is a big warning to the rest of Canadians that if they speak against the government they will bring down the hammer on you. Someone in a comment replied to the original tweet and posted this video of him being a "gatekeeper" as well, since he made videos telling Christians and Muslims on how to be and didn't make any videos about any other religions or religious people.
This video is four years old and it's eye opening to hear someone asking this question considering the current environment of the world now, comments are a good read.
I just wasted four minutes of my life watching some guy in the audience ask a heavily loaded question based on arguments presented a book he’d given JP moments before. JP politely declines to disentangle the guy’s soliloquy live on stage, which is probably the only reasonable response.

Political yardsticks seeped into all areas of society including commerce and medicine. Right?

Wouldn't it be reasonable to ask the question given Peterson's political notoriety, yes?

In any event, I don't believe I've been speaking in absolute terms but my words really never matter to you. I basically said I just don't know if the COP has a black and white case.

By the way, "most of us agree that the CPO is the best judge of........ethical rules" seems quite a bit manipulative. Yeah, so what? You're on TERB. This isn't exactly scientific polling here. This is more like calling into a radio station to vote for your favorite song of 2022 twenty times in one hour.
I have no idea what you are trying to say here.

What if Peterson diagnosed Trump from afar? Forget that. What am I saying. That would never happen. No psychologist would do that.
He'd infringe the Goldwater Rule. That may or may not be grounds for discipline. IDK how they would play that. They may just shrug it off, or write a mild warning or reprimand.

Val has a point in that Peterson's shtick goes well beyond a casual 1-time poke at somebody or something. Peterson has been milking the outrage machine endlessly for a few years and has developed his public persona around outrage about "repression" and what he calls "the radical left" and the terrible things it does.

It's interesting that Orry - who worships Doc Pee - has picked up on the same terms and same ideas and drops them into his discourse all the time.

I'm trying to figure out how him not answering a loaded question about whether the Jews were provoking the US to demonize Russia to get revenge on the Christian Ukrainians means he is "controlled opposition".
Exactly, the easy answer would be 'no, that's an antisemitic trope'.
Instead Peterson treaded into trope land himself saying 'Jews are over represented in....' then stopped himself from answering further.

Peterson has now aligned himself with the freedumb convoy and climate change deniers. His 12 step market is down to less than 10% of the population, which is still enough to make a living.

I know this is the lounge and rump comments shouldn't be here, but rump is in trouble today for testifying that a photo of E Jean Carroll was a photo of his wife Marla then saying 'she's not my type'.
Dementia might be his best defence there now.

Meanwhile, Peterson has clearly stated his anti-science bias and the use of disinformation now on twitter.
HIs title of genius of the right wing may still stand, but as far as deep thinker in general?

Now Peterson has every right to support whatever politician he wishes in his personal life. But seriously, Danielle Smith is an obvious moron and Doc Pee is a smart dude. So again this is Doc Pee marketing himself to the alt lite as one of the team.

What indoctrination looks like. The woke academic bullying occurring at the top all the way down to the classroom.
Interesting that they made sure to not actually show what he said or did that resulted in her asking for an apology - or have anyone present the other side of the incident.

Only from the Right Wing echo chamber. He's not an enemy of the Democrats as Pee Pee will be.
No, here's the mistake MK made. MK said that JP called Trudeau a Pric, on twitter, when it was really Butts, who JP called a Pric, on twitter-----LMAO

Either way, I'd still love to bang MK. I would just make her promise to not talk about politics and if she did, I'd have to put something in her mouth so either way, it's a win-win.

True, but what got him in trouble with psychologists was suggesting someone kill themselves on twitter.
Yes, Frank I do agree with you. That was by far, the worst tweet, that JP wrote. It brings back memories of that whole Michelle Carter trial, when she tells her depressed boyfriend by text, "to go kill himself." Obviously MC is not a Psychologist, but she did wind up having to serve two years in jail. There was an HBO documentary, about this whole thing.
