in Canada, much like in most 1st world countries, accused men are out on bail while their cases are ongoing.
your top G decided to pick a funny country for his activities because he thought there is less of a chance he'd be prosecuted. He fucked up royally. Maybe, just maybe, he's not a top G?
Your understanding is backwards.
He chose to live in a country with a culture he likes. Further, it's a country that makes businesses like webcams easier to operate (i.e. the same way hookers are cheaper overseas than here; and manufacturers build in Mexico and China rather than locally).
You aren't a Top G unless you've been sued, been accused, and/or had brushes with the law. With big business and money comes the snakes and villains trying to take what you've built.
I've given you a glimpse on what it's like to be a Top G. Now go out and prosper.

What saved them was hotel cam footage. Had that not existed these guys would have been found guilty. Lives destroyed. Their names were already dragged through the mud... and to this very day, the general public has no idea who their accuser was.

It's funny reading middle-aged women's Facebook comments on stories about Tate. They're all sad and angry that their male teenage sons look up to him. It must be refreshing to a youngster listening to someone as bombastic as Tate when growing up in a world that tells you that you're toxic merely for existing, that wants to medicate you for behaving as you're supposed to, and that tells you that although people like you built and maintain the entire world, that you're useless.
I'd certainly hate to be a young male in current times. I experienced how great things were before wokeness took over the West - when equality, justice, fairness were actual societal goals. These young males have never known a time like that.
