Which then comes down to "held against their will" which can be difficult to prove if the threats and coercion weren't directly violent as anyone who has looked at trafficking cases knows.

I have no doubt whatsoever that this guy is a scumbag.
I just don't know what to expect of these particular charges.

I think you missed the point. Cops in Romania had him under investigation for the last 6 months.
Surely they had his phone and emails tapped as well.
They would know his whereabouts at all times, and wouldnt need a stupid pizzabox to tell them where he is

It’s the same thing Phil did with the story about the attack on Nancy Pelosi’s husband: he latched on to one peripheral, inconsequential element of the story (ie, the attacker’s home address) and litigated it for days as though it somehow made everything else that he didn’t like about the story go away.
