With respect to delayed marriage, there are financial and social concerns at play. "Men aren't avoiding marriage. They're avoiding divorce."
It has gone up with women as well (not as dramatically, but again, the super dramatic version is from just one survey of this kind of thing).
But if you want to keep the focus just on men, it is still delaying marriage that seems to be the strongest link here.
Men are getting married later, and therefore having less sex.
It isn't really "involuntary celibacy" at all, but "voluntary celibacy" driving this.
Now mind you, this data is a bit old and I am sure the pandemic threw everything into chaos, so who knows what we will see in a few years time as a trend.
