Right now on Tulsa King and Sandman.

Tulsa King started a bit contrived, but the characters are now growing on me. And I see the greater story story unfolding.

Sandman I'm two in and really enjoying it. I went in with small expectations and its exceeding them bucely. Always a treat to see so many British actors who can morph so well into roles.

Taylor Sheridan has been busy lately writing “non woke shows in an world of Woke“. Tulsa King, Mayor of Kingstown, and the whole Yellowstone universe which now includes 1883 and 1923. The latest instalment had a great premiere last week and has the potential to be the best out of all of them.

Most of my friends dropped Sandman after the godawful pilot episode.
I ended up sticking with it because of some other people's recommendations and it does drag itself up to ok as they get more confident about taking their own view of the source material.
If you like it after two, you will probably really like it by the end.

It would have been great if they had cast someone for Morpheus who didn't suck, although I wonder if it is the directing that's holding him back. (I don't know him from other work so I can't tell.)

They have the pieces in place for a season 2 that is much stronger, but you never know what lessons they will learn from how season 1 was received.

In a place far, far away
Swiss mountain girl Heidi is abducted by brutal government troops and must defend herself and fight a war against a cheese-fueled machinery of hate. :ROFLMAO:

With what's happened in Afghanistan lately, I showcased Afghan/Canadian Stuntwoman/actress Mitra Suri. Born in New Delhi raised in Toronto.

Among her credits are work in The Boys and Peacemaker. She plays Candy Cane in Violent Night with David Harbour (Stranger Things).

Tulsa King is wicked awesome, it's BBT/2.5men/HIMYM level legen... wait for it.

Just found out Extraordinary Attorney Woo Young Woo is coming back in 2024 for a second season, so if any of your maternal fornicators need a reason not to kill yourself and the next John WIck and Deadpool isn't enough...

Been watching Behind Every Star based on a French show. I was shocked when the main hottie was played by the same person who played Woo Young Woo's best friend. DIdn't recognize her at all.

Sadly that show is complete and there is nothing new in the Kdrama world to watch. I have a Cdrama and a Thailand show [a non gay one for once] but they tend not to be very good.

But Tulsa King... lard tunderan Jebus.

Oh I hope nobody is lactose intolerant because the next part is Dary! Legendary!

Just started watching this. Only 1 episode in. Will report back when I get deep into the season.
I'm part way through episode 7. It's a really good show with a good cast. And it's pretty racy.

I don't know if this will see the light of day.

Samara Weaving is tipped to play Holly Madison, Hugh Heffner's GF, in a mini-series about her autobiographical book called Down the Rabbit Hole. Btw Babylon is bombing, Damien Chazelle is losing his grip on reality.

I watched a bit of the Addams Family film, Thing Addams looked fake. Not sure why they thought going sped up stop motion would make the character look good?

For the Wednesday series they went old school. Pantomime of the type not seen since Red Skelton, the effect was exceptional - Thing Addams achieves George Costanza level greatness. Full credit to actor/ sign language actor Victor Dorobantu for creating the legendary appendage.
