Probably the most important tackle in Steeler (maybe NFL) history and by a QB of all people. For some reason, that stands out more in my mind than the "Immaculate Reception".That was a Superbowl winning tackle by Big Ben
1) I clearly remember Ben being gifted a SB TD even though the football he was carrying was visibly short of the end zone line.That was a Superbowl winning tackle by Big Ben
How about James Harrisons 99yrd Pick-Six?
LOL..1) I clearly remember Ben being gifted a SB TD even though the football he was carrying was visibly short of the end zone line.
2) I clearly remember that a very visible blocking from behind penalty by 'cheap shot' Harrison's teammate was conveniently not called on his 'dick-six'.
3) But I most vividly remember that Santonio Holmes NEVER did have both feet in the end zone at any point of time when the football was in his possession. The toe of his one shoe resting upon the heal of his other does not equal two feet in the field of play.
And I dare anyone to provide a video or a photo that clearly shows possession of the football with both feet touching the end zone turf simultaneously. Does not exost, because it never happened.
Clearly some teams and some players are favored by officials
1) Leon McQuay at the goal line in the Grey Cup. LOLMy memories of the worst fumbles ever are:
1. The Browns’ Earnest Byner‘s fumbling against the Broncos in the 1987 AFC Championship game;
2. The 1978 game where Joe Pisarcek, Giants QB, fumbled a handoff to Larry Csonka which was run back for a TD by the Eagles’ Herman Edwards blowing a 5-point lead at the end of the game. Forever afterwards, QB’s took a knee at the end of games like that, except for…
3. Whatever the fuck it was that happened last week when the Jacobi Meyers of the Pats made that ridiculous lateral at the end of the game. Not technically a fumble but still…wtf?
