Maybe it'll get rid of the usual setup of one person who does the lifting and one the does the flying.
Guys can land quadruple and I think we are almost at the quintuple considering a quadruple axel is 4.5 complete rotationt in the air.
If 2 guys are put together, it's gonna wipe out the competition quite literally.
There are physical limitations that are proper to women in this sport and I think they should open a new category when it comes to freestyle. If it's dance or synchronized it doesn't really change anything.

Not when grading difficulties like this. This is flips and turns and the more power, the bigger it is. The bigger it is the the harder the difficulty rating and then higher the score.
Two men could even “out-do” what many man/woman pairs teams can do based on doubles of a type of jump that women simply can’t do. They just have to add one more rotation then a woman can do and they have the points.

To be clear, I have no issue with two men or two women competing. Just compete in your own category that makes it fair.
