Disgraceful scenes by some Uruguayan players at the end of the match, virtually attacking the referee

How did S Korea advance while having the same points as Uruguay? Everything looks the same?

Tie-breaking rules:

1. goal difference
2. More goals scored
3. Fewer yellow and red cards. (Uruguay is one of the dirtiest teams, Saurez likes to bite other players, S. Korea would advance anyways)
4. Coin toss.

In this case, S. Korea scored more goals than Uruguay.

World Cup has gotten exciting every day. I love watching the matches when they are less of being predictable.
The 3rd game of group stages are always amazing. Imagine the Korean players were checking the Uruguay game last few minutes on their phone because had Uruguay scored just one more goal they would have been eliminated. Can't be better then this!

My predictions were not that good tho haha. I only had about half of them correct!

France played much better then I tough they would. Griezman playing as attacking mid-fielder is a total surprise for me. He's much better then then as a striker.

For Canada it's a big wake up call that showed them a lot of work is still needed. They provided a lot of good tactically but they lost technically. Way too many routine play were they lost the ball. They need more players in European team to higher up their level of play.

Now that Canada has been eliminated, I now finally know who I am rooting for as of today.

Firstly, I want Brazil to win their 6th WC title since they haven't won since 2002. After that I am rooting for either Japan or Korea to win their first title for an Asian country. England is the final country I am rooting since they haven't won since 1966. They are as jinxed as our Toronto Maple Leafs who have not won the Stanley Cup since 1967. :(

Making predictions for tomorrow.

Cameroon shocking Brazil.

Serbia over Switzerland. (Serbia going to win one for Milan Borjan)

South Korea and Portugal draw.

Ghana and Uruguay Draw.
South Korea won 2-1, scoring the winner in stoppage time.
Uruguay is eliminated despite winning 2-0

Cameroon will need their best witch doctor to stand a chance against Brazil :D

Ok Thanks they added the goals afterwards on the fifa website. Initially they were the same.

I agree but disagree, we have a flashy team that hits on fast breaks. What we don't have is a strong defense, that is Canada's Achilles Heel. The Canadian Selects who won the Concacaf Gold Cup in 2000 had a superior defense. Take out Atiba Hutchinson, Steven Vitoria and Milan Borjan, replace them with Randy Samuel, Paul Fenwick and Craig Forrest, we could have advanced to the Round of 16.

The 2000 Nationals knew how to "park the bus" when required...which begs the question, what ever happened to Holger Osieck? I didn't know he was Franz Beckenbauer's assistant coach when Germany won Italia90.

I was cheering for Cameroun, LOL but Brazil didn't have their A team. Interesting they played Danny Alves which is not a spring chicken.
