New Subway bowls-total rip off

Tried one yesterday, they fill 3/4of the bowl with lettuce, add your usual toppings, a SMALL dollop of guac, then a super conservative, premeasured bit of rice (rice ffs) and then the steak which was dodgey looking

Charged me............wait for it............TWELVE FUCKING DOLLARS, for mostly lettuce, total rip off, never again

Everywhere trying to rip us off a bit. Even The Keg now uses iceburg lettuce in what they describe as a green salad which used to be dark green spinach leafs, peppers etc. They filled the bowl with iceburg lettuce and put a few dark green leafs on top

pita pit bowls are 15 and not fullfilling you want a great bowl Tim Horton has a delicious chicken rice bowl for like 9 bucks delish

The price of lettuce went up $100 a case. Some restaurants stopped selling salads..

Try Freshii. In general, Toronto food and the pricing sucks. Worse place to eat in NA.
You have to do you own research and find something you like, the correct portion size, and price.
It took me 14 months to find a decent sandwich and pizza in my area.
I'm still researching daily.

Tim Horton has a delicious chicken rice bowl for like 9 bucks delish

My wife loves the Chicken rice bowl with the slow roasted chicken and cilantro lime sauce.
It is big enough that she can have 1/2 one day and the other 1/2 the next day.

They started that when the Romain lettuce issue happened a few years ago. They figured out the cost saving and stayed with it.

Quiznos was my favourite too. It is sad how they didn’t take off to be able to compete with the likes of Subway.

First they got the egg order wrong twice. The first time was over easy, then they served me under cooked sunny side up. It turned into a gloppy mess the second I broke the yoke. And it came with miniature slices of rye bread and the fried potatoes were absolutely gross. I would have been better off eating hot dogs than the cheap sausages they serves. For having heartburn the rest of the day I was charged $21.00...never again.

sometimes there are advantages to being cheap........i cant remember the last time i ate a Sub at Subway or Mr Sub...eating out for breakfast..i limit myself to Sunset Grill once a month...i dont touch edibles at Tim Horton..their coffee is bad enough....................however i will enjoy the senior priced coffee and muffin at Mcdonalds

The best is Jersey Mike's but not available on this side of the border. I couldn't believe it at first. Even Olive Garden not available. Basically mom-and-pop shops in GTA. And it's always a hit and miss depending on who's making your food.

Actually I am a fairly big fan of Cora's. Every day from 7 to 8am they have about 5 different early bird breakfast specials which include coffee and are around $11.00 tax in . Without these specials it is hard to get in much under $20. This is a significantly better deal than you can get at either the Sunset Grill or Eggsmart where you are looking at $15-$17 or more

If they got the order wrong, you should send it back. We're paying good money. We should get what we want.

If they get too many things wrong and the items get sent back, they might actually get the hint at some point. It's costing them money.
