At some point, Kyrie is gonna have to face the media and renounce this ridiculous conspiracy…and that’s not going to happen. He thinks he’s being persecuted for his beliefs. I hope he doesn’t come back.

Don't agree with Kyrie, but I'm also a bit uncomfortable seeing that much pressure exerted on an individual trying to force them to change their beliefs. He is a basketball player and gets played to play basketball. What he chooses to believe off the basketball court should be his business.

Has Lebron commented on this situation yet? He's normally quick to comment on social/ racial issues.

If he was a fringe player, his "career" would be reduced to shooting hoops on his driveway by now. Irving's still there because he's got a higher level of skill. If he believed harmless shit about aliens and green lizardmen, people would just chuckle and pat him on the head and call him a "character". But open anti semitism is just simply not acceptable. It's sort of in the same category as fucking 5 year olds in the food court at the mall while people watch.

Words have definitions. A book/movie that portrays Jews as scheming liars and denies the Holocaust can't be described as any other way. If Kyrie wants to claim he's a Jew then all the power to him but when he attacks what he considers false Jews, he's being racist.



p.s. Plenty of genetic evidence tying Ashkenazi Jews back to biblical Hebrews/Israelites. On the other hand, Black Israelites base their claims simply on a guy who had a 'vision' . Asking why I don;t need to watch the movie to understand reality is like saying I can't claim the Earth is round if I haven't watched flat earth videos.

Considering his history, it's not surprising. Or you can claim it's a Jewish plot.

The NBA has forced owners to sell over anti-black racism. They've fined people for anti-gay statements. I suspect Silver didn't directly suspend Irving simply because that would simply be used as 'proof' of Jewish dominance.
