Why are those the only options for peace?
...
3 choice sis binary in your mind? Interesting.

But go ahead, show what type of peace plan BDS supports. Oh wait, like you they are only interesting in delegitimizing Israel and the Jewish presence.

You called out one terrorist attack.
...
And you've called out zero from the Palestinian side (of which there have been similar numbers in the same time). Why are you so afraid to admit that there are terrorist attacks and racism from both sides in this conflict?

Pretty stupid for you to claim that when I have openly condemned the violent racist settlers just like I have called out the violent racist Palestinians.

p.s. Are you still saying the only way to end the conflict is for Israel to force the Palestinians into a One State peace and disarm the militant groups (like Hamas) who oppose it?

Ending apartheid, implementing equal rights and full voting for all those living within Israel's borders.
Using the model for South Africa, peacefully end apartheid and dismantle colonialism.

From BDS.

There are occasional terrorist attack from Palestinians which I call out.
But in the last ten days alone there have been 100 Israeli settler terrorist attacks that you have not called out at all.
So don't look at me, you are the one here that is refusing to call out terrorism.

On the evening of October 8, 2022, Noa Lazar was overseeing an Israeli security checkpoint in eastern Jerusalem when a vehicle sped towards her. Out of the car jumped Uday Tamimi, a 22-year-old Palestinian man, who shot Lazar to death before fleeing the scene. A 30-year-old security guard was also critically injured in the attack, but survived.

Lazar was only 18-years-old when she was murdered by Tamimi. Immediately afterwards, Israeli forces began a manhunt to identify and track down Tamimi. For more than 10 days, they searched for him, until he re-appeared on October 19, when he committed another attack, this time shooting at security guards near the Israeli town of Maaleh Adumim.

In the firefight, he was shot dead, potentially preventing even more attacks against Israel. Even in his dying breaths, video footage (warning: graphic content) shows him wildly firing at security guards, rather than surrendering.

For his murder of an innocent 18-year-old young woman and his attempted murder of others, Tamimi was quickly hailed as a “hero” by Hamas, along with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah party, and by Palestinians throughout the territories.

On October 20, Palestinians in eastern Jerusalem as well as Judea & Samaria (the West Bank) held a one-day general strike to mourn Tamimi’s death.

Tamimi was also praised by Arabic media across the region, including Al-Manar, the media outlet owned and operated by Hezbollah, the Lebanon-based Shia Islamist terrorist group.

Such praise for a murderer is hardly surprising coming from a Hezbollah-affiliated “media” outlet, but that was not the only source of admiration for Tamimi.

Nazih Khatatba, Editor of Meshwar Media, a Mississauga-based Arabic-language newspaper, joined the fray by offering his own applause for Tamimi’s bloody actions.

'Honest reporting'?
Its not terrorism if you're attacking an IDF checkpoint, its just the natives rebelling against an apartheid occupation.
In fact, the checkpoints are illegal.

(October 24, 2022 / JNS) George Washington University (GW) has seen several anti-Semitic incidents over the past two weeks, including posters targeting Zionists with obscene language and protests calling for terrorism targeting Jews.

Leaflets were found around the school’s main campus in the Foggy Bottom neighborhood of Washington, D.C., with text reading “Zionists F*** Off.”

The flyers were followed by protesters gathering outside the Jewish Student Center and chanting, “There is only one solution, intifada revolution.” These incidents came days after Yom Kippur.

Gil Preuss, CEO of the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington, told JNS that rhetoric against Israel and the Jewish community at GW has grown increasingly intense, “violent and more confrontational, and has crossed many lines.”

He described the developments as “shocking on the one hand, yet sadly, somewhat predictable on the other hand.”

anti-jewish terrorist and pro-Iranian regime activist, Firas al Najim “drove at a high rate of speed in the direction of a crowd of people,” said police.

Canadian protesters against oppression in Iran were nearly car-rammed in Toronto on Sunday by an activist who had recently achieved notoriety for dressing as an orthodox Jew and harassing a Holocaust survivor about her position on the Israel-Palestinian conflict.

As a protest in Markham at the Islamic Mahdi Centre mosque neared its end, Firas al Najim, 38, “drove at a high rate of speed in the direction of a crowd of people,” said York Regional Police. “The accused stopped the vehicle abruptly, squealing the tires while yelling at the protestors.”

According to journalist Samira Mohyeddin, protesters alleged that al Najim – the manager of the NGO Canadian Defenders 4 Human Rights (CD4HR) – had attempted to run them over.

Police officers attempted to stop the vehicle after the incident, but al Najim and a passenger fled in the car.

Al Najim was arrested a short time later, and when officers searched his vehicle, they found an airsoft gun, a baton and bear spray.

Really? Why don't you go back and show me some examples.

You sure didn't comment on the Jew who was stabbed last week and I know that you won't comment on the one stabbed yesterday. I know there were plenty of examples where you blamed the victim because you think Jews shouldn't be allowed in the West Bank (while also pretending to want equal rights) and there were lots of posts where you described Gaza rockets at self defence.

In the past month, a new terrorist group has taken credit for dozens of attacks on both Jewish civilians and soldiers but I'm sure your only complaint will be that Israeli troops fired back at the militants who shot at them during the attempted arrest.

(and to be very clear, I am against settlers attacking Palestinian civilians just as I'm against Palestinians attacking Jewish civilians - the settlers in the article should be charged and locked up and so should the Palestinians doing similar - or worse - things).

Do you notice that they don't use the words "PEACE"? In other words, not endorsing any peace option, not even the One State farce that you want to force Palestinians into.

I know reading is challenging for you but you will notice that the only statement about equality is for Arab Israelis who already have a vote and though treated equally under the law, face systemic discrimination. But for some reason, as a settler in Canada, you don't seem to spend much effort working against the systemic discrimination in Canada.

As opposed to the "investigators" hired by the rights abusers council and have made anti-semitic comments who's list of human rights abuses somehow ignore indiscriminate rocket fire, shooting attacks on civilians, or repression of protesters by Hamas or the PA?

p.s. the details in that story are widely reported

Your article also includes this line:
It has also left over 120 Palestinians dead,

There were 100 settler attacks in 10 days, 120 Palestinians have been killed so far this year and here you are trying to make it sound like Israelis are victims again.
So yes, good thing they caught the guy who did the stabbing, I'm sure he'll spend the rest of his life in jail, be tortured and his family's house destroyed for the crime. As Israel does.
Meanwhile the occupation is still illegal, you continue to support apartheid, there are no peace talks and as the article noted, tensions are escalating.

You found 1 stabbing in the period where there were 100 settler attacks, most backed by the state in the form of the IDF.
Do you really think this proves that Palestinians are the problem?

I can see why BDS pisses you off so much.
They don't care about the one state or two state solution, they only care about implementing equal rights.
And that makes you very, very angry.

What does BDS aim to achieve? Does it call for a one state or a two state solution?
The BDS movement aims to pressure Israel to respect international law by:
1. Ending its occupation and colonization of all Arab lands and dismantling the Wall
International law recognises the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, Gaza and the Syrian Golan Heights as occupied by Israel.
2. Recognizing the fundamental rights of the Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel to full equality.
3. Respecting, protecting and promoting the rights of Palestinian refugees to return to their homes and properties as stipulated in UN resolution 194.
These are three basic rights without which the Palestinian people cannot exercise its inalienable right to self-determination.
The BDS movement does not advocate for a particular solution to the conflict and does not call for either a “one state solution” or a “two state solution”. Instead, BDS focuses on the realization of basic rights and the implementation of international law.

By the way, Israeli Arabs also live under apartheid according the UN, HRW, Amnesty, B'tselem and others.
Its a different form, but its still apartheid.

And Canada has done so much towards truth and reconciliation.
Israel is still walling in the natives, shooting them when they protest and stealing their land.

Did you notice the part where the vast majority of those dead were directly involved in attacks? As I said, you scream and yell that armed Palestinian combatants are killed when attacking police or civilians while trying to ignore the overt terror attacks conducted by the Lions Den terrorists and others against Jewish civilians.

I notice that you still refuse to condemn acts from some Palestinians that are intentional attacks targeting random civilians. Pathetic that your racism gets in the way of your alleged morals.

They don't piss me off. They are simply a counterproductive group that is a home for racists. I would think that given your repeated calls for peace and demands that Palestinian buy into the One State farce that you want them forced into, that you'd endorse a party counter to both those ideals.

A negotiated peace agreed upon by all sides is the only way forward. BDS can not bring peace or progress as it gives the Palestinians zero incentive to negotiate and Israel can not create peace by forcing Palestinians into something they reject (though you would love it if they tried, you could blame Israel for acting unilaterally while justifying Palestinian factions who kill to stop peace).

I love the way that you make up your own stupid definitions of terms. How stupid to claim that a system that freely allows any citizen to have any role in government or society (despite systemic issues) is Apartheid. Do you even wonder why sane people ignore your propaganda?

Do you call Canada an Apartheid regime because our systemic racism restricts opportunities for Indigenous and black Canadians?

(October 26, 2022 / JNS) Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology recently hosted events with Palestinian activist Mohammed El-Kurd, who has made a series of anti-Semitic comments.

El-Kurd, who appeared at MIT on Oct. 22 and Harvard on Oct. 24, has described Zionism as a “death cult,” “murderous”, “genocidal,” and “sadistic,” according to research compiled by the CAMERA media watchdog. He has also said that Israelis have “an unquenchable thirst for Palestinian blood.”

More than 60 MIT students sent a protest letter to the heads of the departments responsible for inviting El-Kurd.

“As an Israeli, it is incredibly disturbing that numerous departments at MIT would co-sponsor and allocate funds toward hosting speakers who lionize terrorists and whitewash horrific acts of violence against my family, friends, and peers as forms of ‘resistance,’” said MIT student Dana Rubin, in a statement distributed by CAMERA.

Views echoed by 1/4 of US Jews.

A survey of US Jewish voters polled after May's conflict between Israel and the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip finds that a quarter believe that Israel is an apartheid state.

Also, 34 percent believe that Israel's treatment of Palestinians is similar to US racism and 22 percent believe that Israel is committing genocide against the Palestinians.

You're still doing it, accusing all Palestinians of 'terrorism' based on race.
The Lion's Den is a militant resistance that targets the IDF, they are not terrorists.
They are just the rightful resistance of an occupied people to colonial settler occupation.

No, its an occupation. There have been no talks for almost a decade. Only the occupiers can decide when to end their occupation.
As the UN said, its now permanent, and that makes it apartheid.

BDS represents a peaceful end to apartheid.
The Lion Den represents status quo.
Your choice.

I love the way that you make up your own stupid definitions of terms. How stupid to claim that a system that freely allows any citizen to have any role in government or society (despite systemic issues) is Apartheid. Do you even wonder why sane people ignore your propaganda?
I love the way that you claim I made up the terms of apartheid, that its not just part of the ICC Rome Statute.
Or that Amnesty, B'tselem, HRW, Yesh Din and the UN don't represent the highest authorities on these charges.

The NDP has a 13 point plan backing human rights for Palestinians.
The liberals can't be far behind.

You represent an aging, racist segment of the Jewish population.
You are on the wrong side of history.

End apartheid.
Support basic human rights.
