Yes I agree, I do believe he is searching for the off-ramp Biden eluded to.
Up until the Iranian drones he was looking finished, running out of missiles, artillery, transport and cannon fodder.
I'd assume these attacks are to lay the grounds to negotiating an end, they gain him any land or battles.
The question is how does Zelensky respond, does he keep pushing and take the drone hits knowing he can win the land battles or does he consider giving up some loss of land and ending it.

This is more symbolic than practical, Russian soldiers murdered one of Ukraine's top conductors for refusing to direct a concert in Kherson. The Kherson native, Maestro Yuriy Kerpantenko was gunned in his home. He was the Director of Kherson Regional Philharmonic as well as the Gileya Chamber Orchestra. The concert was supposed to be an improvement of life through peace.

The head of Russia's railway system quietly "committed suicide" last week. Seriously, shouldn't those suicidees just have a quiet cup of tea and cheer up?
Nah, it's not dead, it's just resting. its pining for the Taiga.

As for cheering up, It works for second best Korea

Not exactly going to win over the populace that way. Looks like they're getting desperate..

Trent Telenko has a good thread on the Iranian Shahed drones.
At $20,000 a pop, they are dead cheap and stupidly effective.
This is really the threat of the next wave of drone wars, they are cheap enough to send out tons of them and accurate enough to do real damage.

I think that's more of a worry than this.
Years ago Russia tricked Ukraine into giving up all their nukes, so, yes it's very clear what's going on. You just have to read between the lines a little...
