Fucking stupid idiots. I’m sorry to say and I have a client who is a dump trucker driver and he is great but even he will say dump truck drivers are the absolute worst on the road. Always overloaded, speeding, running reds, doing things to quick and forget like this person probably did.

Why are dump trucks even on a 400 series highway? They're almost always spilling gravel and little bits of crap that crack windshields and cause all kinds of body damage to other vehicles on the road. Either secure your load, or get on a lower speed road where you won't cause so much damage.

That's a good point but apparently this dump truck had just dumped a load on a project on the 401 not too far away.

I agree. But I think a better solution to these trucks is having an alarm in the cab to indicate if bucket isn't in the down position.

Apparently, this time of year it's an increased risk because people are having their tires changed. Some places recommend going back one week after you have your tires changed so they can check them. In the case you mentioned I think the tire came off a boat trailer.

So another Dump truck out of Brampton, likely with a Driver that never actually passed the certification tests, but instead either bribed his way through it, or had someone else take the test for him, as is done all the time by these temple owned truck driving schools in Brampton.

Same story as the idiot Dump truck driver that did the same thing on the Skyway bridge a few years ago.

In that case, I believe the whole wheel assembly came off. The axle detached. Guy had just bought the trailer and assumed it was in working condition.

I can't even drive 100m with out my seatbelt buzzer getting annyoing.

How is it not mandated that these trucks have a buzzer that stays on with the dump bin up in the air? Wire it so it only works in Drive. If you put the truck in Drive and have the bin up, you'll get screeching until you put it down (or put it back in Park then put it down)

$5 buzzer in every truck solves the entire issue. And can be easily retrofitted (much easier than a speed limiter for example!)

Holy shit! Didn't realize it was dark out when it happened. That's a lethal, semi-camouflaged and unexpected, solid roadblock in the middle of the 401. It's a wonder no one died.
