To be perfectly honest I don’t quite understand those homage watches either. It is so painfully unoriginal.
You can literally buy an original nice watch at any price point. ETA movements are common and work well. So do japanese movements.
It may be seiko if money is tight. But it’s going to be an original watch. And you won't need to explain "no it's not a rolex" every time.
PS - I know what these aftermarket diamond watches remind me of stylistically. Rich gypsies in Romania or Moldova would wear those
It basically screams "I came out of a ghetto and I am not going back".

HAHAHA. Bets post I've read on any of the watch forums I kill time on occasionally. Well done!!!
And I agree. Timex, Casio, smart watch or apple watch, wear whatever makes you happy.
Can never go wrong with Seiko. Wonderful pieces which are all over the price spectrum.
You want to or are ready to spend a few thousand dollars and have a watch that will last forever if taken care of to pass onto your kids, classy and really tells people that you know what you are doing, go get a Tudor.
You would be hard pressed to find a better watch brand for even twice the price.
We all place value on different things here. That is the beauty of life and lets not forget that.
Some scoff at spending $600 for dinner as is highlighted in another recent thread, or flying bus class or first class or spending money on watches.
We all have our own interests.
Let's not forget however that we are on a board where many are spending exorbitant amounts of $ on experiences with women!
Most would think that completely insane, however we see the value in such noble pursuits lol.
Al the best ladies and gents.
Classic and refined and stately and timeless.
