I'm sure Stinky knows it is not authentic.
Supposed to be a 116509 white gold Daytona.
Prob pick one up on up around 50k both from AD and secondary market as the vast majority of Rolex's are still hard to come by new surprisingly.
Other than the poor fit b/w the lugs and the bold-looking bezel, from the front it actually does not look too bad.
Just don't take it off or hand it to anyone as the weight and the clasp will be dead giveaways to an informed watch enthusiast.
One tip, stop the large second hand from running. No self-respecting Daytona owner would let it run constantly. If you need to watch the seconds tick by, that is what the small chrono on the bottom is for.
Wear it in good health my man.
BTW, I'm with John Wick above on the guess.

I have a cheap Movado and Tissot watch...bought them together on my first salary here in Canada...still tells me the correct time...will this Rolex be better at telling time?

Keep the guesses coming eh…. Ok.

You had to blow the original owner, but fortunately, no ass play?

What were some giveaways that made you recognize it was a replica?
From the front:
Pushers stand out too far
Bracelet end piece is way too loose between the lugs. Should be zero space.
Font is way too bold on the bezel.

Clasp is wrong. Says Steelinox.
If it was a stainless Daytona would be correct.
This is supposed to be a white gold Daytona.
Entire case, bracelet, clasp and bezel all made of gold.

Having said that it is very easy to spot when looking up close.
On the wrist and moving around would be tough other than the sloppy lug fitment.

All good guesses, and the answer was right in the middle of all your gueses.

The watch was US $167, but after coupons I got for a little less. https://www.dhgate.com/product/cosm...-best/436737087.html?skuid=530877185669922838

$250 was the closest guess, and the first one by John Wick. When I saw the guess, I was like, "Damn, really? That's impressive." Knowing it was not authentic is one thing, but to know the level of replica quailty is anohter. Cardioguy, and Johnd5050 also agreed with him. Good job, guys!

This watch costs tens of thousands if authentic.

The replica I purchased was a lower tier one, but not the worst. It is passable and actually looks and feels pretty good, with no obvious mistakes. It would fool most people, but not any watch enthusiasist. I would think that nobody I know would be able to it was fake by looking at it. However, once you handle it, almost anyone can recoginize it does not feel authentic if they handle it. It feels light and cheap, with rough edges and cheap squeaks. I just bought it for fun, and maybe to use once in a while.

The higher levels of replicas are much better, and almost instinguishable from the authentic. They usually cost about $1,000.

Well, now I know that I won't be able to pass this off as real, as much as I thought it looked real. >_<

Didn't fool anyone here.

But... Just curious if I had posted a real Daytona, how many of you would have still posted the same guesses!:LOL:
