Can you not understand why some parents don't want their kids around this?

Kids are very impressionable and when a person of a trusted authoritative position start putting ideologies in their head, they just go with it not grasping reality. Schools need to be neutral with and aid in the academic development of students, not the indoctrination of them.
What is the idea that you are so afraid of? That some people are different? What do you think will happen if a kid is exposed to other lifestyles etc. In what sense is discussing other things indoctrinating. In school I learned about the Nazis but I did not become a Nazi. i truly do not understand the problem other than the intolerance of some people.

How do you ban a gun if a student is not at the school at the time, but shows up later in the day with a gun to shoot it up?
yeah , drugs are banned from schools , that does not keep them out
Seriously , if someone wants to kill, he/ she is not going to be overly concerned about violating school rules

First off, You didn't learn about the Nazi's, you learned about WW2. Let's not exaggerate here. It was a history lesson, the teacher wasn't handing out Third Reich bracelets.

Now, when you say so afraid, I don't understand what you mean? Who are they to decide what a child should be exposed to and who decided they are the ones to do it? They're just educators, stick to the curriculum.

Some people, especially the youth, are gullible. It's the reality of the situation.

Funny I don't remember you being in any of my history classes. But thanks for attempting to tell me what I learned 50 years ago. But you are wrong. We learned about WWII and the National Socialist Party and its leader.

In any event "who are they" to decide"? They are school boards which are charged with deciding the curricula. That is who they are.

And you clearly confuse gullibility with stupidity. I give young people a lot more credit than you.

in school you learned the Nazis were evil , so you did not become a Nazi , you hate Nazis and are intolerant of Nazis
CRT teaches kids white people were evil.........

It promotes hatred and intolerance for non white kids & and lays an unjustified guilt trip on white kids for shit that happened centuries ago.

so very ironic for a guy who is unwilling to even consider AGW skeptics are anything but 'denairs' of your true faith

you preach about indocrination and intolerance without recognizing how you have been indocrinated and how intolerant you are

Is it safe for me to assume your teacher didn't bring out the Hitler story time book? I highly doubt your teacher gave everyone black boots and made you all practice a Nazi march. You learned about the Nazi's within the context of WW2 history.

And yes, they are the School Board. Public employees. Let's not forget that and what that means.

Are you ok with a minor signing a contract on their own? Of course not. Come on now.

You are attempting to support a ridiculous point. The point is that in history you learn about a lot of things that may not be pleasant or to anybody's liking but it is history and it helps in explaining the present and predicting or planning for the future. Likewise you learn about other lifestyles and it does not result in everyone adopting those lifestyles.

Are you seriously suggesting that if children learn about what it means to be gay they will turn gay or transition or anything else.

No what I'm saying is there is no Academic reason for this, which is the primary reason people send their children to school. So why such a push to have this in the schools?

Having the Schools dictate to children what to accept is the very definition of indoctrination.

What might not inconvenience you, could inconvenience someone else. Because a person can't deal with their biological reality, we have to pretend just to make them feel good?

The goal post can be anywhere you want it to be. This is a package deal right now. If one thing is accepted, then 25 other things come with it. That's the issue.

I didn't want to say this but I'mma say it any way. You talk about homosexuality no longer being classified as a mental illness. The same organization are actively working trying to reclassify pedophilia. What does that show you about their integrity?
First, they are not working to reclassify pedophilia in the same manner.
Second, I'm sure there were a lot of white people who felt inconvenienced serving black folks at a lunch counter, public pool or on the bus. I'd like to say they eventually got over it, but we constantly see how horrible it was for them to treat others with respect...

The same folks are taking umbrage to being called semi-fascists have no problem calling others mentally ill or groomers or what not. So, keep swinging for the fences, maybe one day you'll connect to a deeper understanding of humanity that goes beyond what you're comfortable with.

That is only because of the way you define "academic reason". I believe that it is important to learn about real history and other culture and other lifestyles. i am not afraid that my children will be co-opted by reality and truth and the seeing the world the way it is and the way it was and learning what it might be.

Another course failed by larue.
CRT teaches you racism is evil, so you become less evil, you become less racist and less tolerant of racists.

First, When they reclassified homosexuality it was labelled "sexual orientation disturbance". So I would say it's a similar matter. In a few decades how do I know you won't support this as well?
Second, being black is not an identity and people have to stop piggy backing off of the black struggle.

The only person swinging for the fence is you. No one is taking anyone's humanity away from them, No one is being put in a cage. Come on now.

This basic understanding only seems to go one way with you guys.

But they are actively legislating against them in ways that are very reminiscence to past segregations. Look, I'll be the first to admit I have some difficulty wrapping my brain around trans people. But, at the end of the day, it doesn't matter. It doesn't affect me in any fashion. I know the right loves to demonize them, saying they'll be inappropriate if they use mixed gender bathrooms or what not. But that hasn't happened. It's like the right cannot stand human rights. I mean, Ezra Levant made hay off of getting hit with a complaint to the human rights commission.

Wow. Just...wow.

No, they are not indoctrinating kids to become queer. That's not how it works. What it is about is helping children avoid the drama and trauma of not being who they are. This helps defeat bullying, reduces suicides and other horribles things that come from forcing people to be closeted.

LOL. I have no interest in telling you. I don't want you telling mine and I don't want parents who happen to share your views either. I want the local school boards who are elected for that very purpose.

If there are higher rates of suicide, bullying and horrible acts is it ok with you that people keep their young children away from this?

Can you not understand why exposing them to this may cause an issue with parents?

Of course not, we have to do it your way, I know. Come on now.

I can see you learned nothing about trusting elected officials from the WWII Nazi Germany lesson in school. 😆
