Climate science should be less political, while climate policies should be more
scientific. Scientists should openly address uncertainties and exaggerations in
their predictions of global warming, while politicians should dispassionately
count the real costs as well as the imagined benefits of their policy measures

Natural as well as anthropogenic factors cause warming

The geological archive reveals that Earth’s climate has varied as long as the
planet has existed, with natural cold and warm phases. The Little Ice Age
ended as recently as 1850. Therefore, it is no surprise that we now are expe
riencing a period of warming.

Warming is far slower than predicted

The world has warmed significantly less than predicted by IPCC on the basis
of modeled anthropogenic forcing. The gap between the real world and the
modeled world tells us that we are far from understanding climate change.

Climate policy relies on inadequate models

Climate models have many shortcomings and are not remotely plausible as
policy tools. They do not only exaggerate the effect of greenhouse gases, they
also ignore the fact that enriching the atmosphere with CO2 is beneficial.

CO2 is plant food, the basis of all life on Earth

CO2 is not a pollutant. It is essential to all life on Earth. More CO2 is favorable
for nature, greening our planet. Additional CO2 in the air has promoted growth
in global plant biomass. It is also profitable for agriculture, increasing the
yields of crops worldwide.

Global warming has not increased natural disasters

There is no statistical evidence that global warming is intensifying hurricanes,
floods, droughts and suchlike natural disasters, or making them more frequent.
However, there is ample evidence that CO2-mitigatiion measures are as damag-
-ing as they are costly.

Climate policy must respect scientific and economic realities

There is no climate emergency. Therefore, there is no cause for panic and
alarm. We strongly oppose the harmful and unrealistic net-zero CO2 policy
proposed for 2050. Go for adaptation instead of mitigation; adaptation works
whatever the causes are.

OUR ADVICE TO THE EUROPEAN LEADERS IS THAT SCIENCE SHOULD
STRIVE FOR A SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE CLIMATE
SYSTEM, WHILE POLITICS SHOULD FOCUS ON MINIMIZING POTENTIAL
CLIMATE DAMAGE BY PRIORITIZING ADAPTATION STRATEGIES BASED OR
PROVEN AND AFFORDABLE TECHNOLOGIES

To believe the outcome of a climate model is
to believe what the model makers have put
in. This is precisely the problem of today’s
climate discussion to which climate models
are central. Climate science has degenerated
into a discussion based on beliefs, not
on sound self-critical science. Should not
we free ourselves from the naive belief in
immature climate models?

The first one IVAR GIAEVER won a Noble prize in physics
The second GUUS BERKHOUT is an engineer
The third CORNELIS LE PAIR is a physicist
The fourth Reynauld Du Berger is emeritus professor of geophysics at the University of Quebec at Chicoutimi.

Do you always start at #8 when examining a list?

or should you rephrase
First name I looked up.
as
"The first name I found suitable for cancelation was Jeffery Foss"

But then you have "Gretta" to tell you how it is & doing your thinking for you.

The late Professor Jeffrey Foss's interest was in the area of philosophy of science.
Here are some of his publications:

Would you mind explaining to me the “English Speaking Canada” part?

For the undersigned from some of the multi-lingual countries
on the list like Belgium and Canada their origin in terms of the
native dialect of the part of the countries they are from is designated.
I guess some people just prefer it that way. Some people from Canada
may prefer to be identified as a Quebecor. I also figure it is not unusual
to ask a Dutch if he/she is from Flanders the Flemish speaking part of the
Netherlands.

Just in case you miss, it the report in the OP does not say there is
no climate change or that climate change is not caused by human
activities. It just says there is no climate emergency. While not everyone
have exactly the same perception of what climate emergency
is like I don't think the word emergency needs to be clarified.
All drivers know on the road there is an emergency when they
hear the sound of the siren and respond accordingly. When
it comes to climate change people have their own idea of what
the appropriate response is. Those who act like climate change
is no emergency are not necessarily climate deniers.

Actually it does need to be clarified
A climate emergency was defined by the supposed decimation of the polar bears. The polar bears are doing just fine
A climate emergency was defined by the supposed decimation of the coral reefs . The coral reefs are doing just fine
A climate emergency was defined by a fraudulent hockey stick . The fraudulent hockey stick still a fraud.
A climate emergency was defined by a teenage high school drop out . She will become a bloody mess when she figures out how she was used

All drivers know on the road there is an emergency when they
hear the sound of the siren and respond accordingly.
Not when the emergency sirens are sounded over and over again in response to non emergencies

Sounds credible but I'm waiting for the Uncle Bobby Show correspondent Bimbo's peer review.

I am waiting for world's one and only one climate leader
of our time to tell her sheeple where to dispose their
climate emergency.

This debate was over a long time ago. The only thing the deniers can point to is that notwithstanding all of the dire predictions the catastrophe has not struck YET. That train is coming down the tracks. The fact that it is not here yet and may be late does not change the fact that it is coming.

Denial itself threatens earth's climate.
Denial would worsen climate change only if acceptance
can bring down carbon emission.

BTW, the declaration in the OP isn't a denial of climate change.
Neither is it a denial of the needs to address the issue. It is a
denial of climate emergency which I agree. There is no emergency.
Greta Thunberg would probably agree people are not living like
there is one.
