No worries, clearly Leader Trump was entitled to take and keep anything from his former job so he will surely win the case, especially with his excellent team of lawyers!

If Trump hired the US equivalent of Marie Henein, I would be the first to cheer and say she'd do a great job. But the lawyers he has - regardless of gender - are hacks because no one else accepts his retainer.
He stiffs his attorneys. He does not take their advice. He routinely asks them to do unethical and illegal acts. He's the worst type of client an attorney can have, and he'll trash the reputation of anyone involved with him.

I have explained it many times here. Lawyers everywhere and throughout history have worked to protect the establishment against the common people and against change.
Lawyers wrote the laws for Hitler and Stalin to name two, and everything Hitler and Stalin did was done according to the law, and in full support by the courts.
The principle even works in a trivial case with Trump against the establishment.

What the establishment does is to pretend to be the anti-establishment in order to sucker people like you. What did Trump do when he was in power?..... Cut a massive tax break for............... THE ESTABLISHMENT.
He can give speeches 24/7 about how the "establishment" hates him. But the establishment loves him. Erik Prince loves him. The Mercers love him. All the other billionaires love him. They do billionaire shit together. Go to billionaire events. And chat about how they fuck over guys like you and still make you love them. It's the rightie populist game.

Someone gets charged with a criminal offence is almost always an outsider and usually a nobody.
So your argument is everyone accused by a crime is actually a victim of the establishment and should eschew lawyers because they are actually supporting the establishment and trying to get their clients convicted?

But just to be clear - your position is that lawyers are refusing to work for Trump because the Establishment has decided to eliminate Trump and lawyers are under orders not to defend him?
And he had the pretty consistent support of the GOP establishment (and a lot of the other core establishment).
They rallied behind him and covered his ass consistently, even if they find him personally odious.
Except - apparently - for Trump's current "Charlie's Angels" trio of hottie lady lawyers. These are obviously all committed legal revolutionaries in Danny's opinion..... Especially the one who once hosted a Far Right cable news show.
I don't buy that. Right now, the people running USA has decided, that Trump cannot be allowed to run again. I am convinced that they will get him on something. Remember, in USA, winning is everything, it matters not wow you win, by crook or hook. If they do not get him on something I am convinced he will have an unfortunate accident.
By the way, I am the opposite of a Trump admirer. I think he is a repulsive individual, that should never be president. He had some good ideas, which he did not implement, like withdrawing the military, and many bad ideas, which he did implement, like the tax cuts on the rich. The establishment is worried about controlling him. Better to have an 80 year old Biden.
You missed the point of every authoritarian leader being enthusiastically supported by the entire legal profession. Whatever Stalin and Hitler did, to name two, was in full accordance with the law, and lawyers were enthusiastic to send people to their deaths. Any comment about the integrity of the legal profession?
In Hitler's and Stalin's cases, the courts and lawyers had no choice but to decide in their favour. You forget what a dictatorship is.....
