I’m in the mood for pizza today, but don’t feel like paying for a pizza from the shop. It’s getting a bit pricey.

Are there any pizzas that are frozen that taste almost the same as delivery? I only had Delissio in the past. It’s actually pretty good I go with the deluxe.

You can get the Walmart brand for three dollars, and it’s actually pretty good I heard. That is the same amount or even less than the amount I would tip. On top of that you have to pay delivery fees, tax and $15 a pizza.

By eating frozenI could probably save $15. And most times I don’t mind eating pizza that’s decent but not great.

You might enjoy one even more by heating it up rather than eating frozen

Frozen pizza costs have really jumped lately especially at Shoppers where I get mine What used to cost $3.99 $4.99 is now up to $7.99 and up. If Im going to pay that I may as well get a Hot&Rready from Little Cesears. Im told by the Mgr. its due to the dairy costs ie: cheese. But like everything else its going up.

No frozen pie compares to a good pizzeria.
I tried quite a few and Delissio is OK for the price. Sometimes you can get 3 for $10. The best you can do is deluxe it up yourself. Throw on a couple of slices of Mozella cheese and a couple of slices of pepperoni on top. You will never get the $30 pizzeria pizza for $4, in a box.

If you buy it sale for $2.99, then DR Oekter casa di Mama. But if you're paying full price, I'd rather add a few bucks and buy a Pizza Nova medium peperoni take out.

I'm surprised none of the pizza chains offers frozen pizzas of their own.

Delissio is actually pretty good. The crust is nice and crispy, and there is a decent amount of cheese and sauce. Definitely not as good as takeout but in a pinch, when you’re craving pizza it’s not bad at all

That is cutting their own throat. Second best option is for a few bucks more to get a hot one or two topping pizza from Pizza hut or Pizza Pizza. I cant stand the single slices under the heat lamp, I always ask for a medium made while I wait. ( they call the small the medium to make you think you are getting more )

When making frozen pizza, the oven makes a big difference, frozen pizza is terrible when done in the oven on your big stove. I prefer a small convection oven. The crust is not turned cracker hard when you do it in a convection oven. I like to do frozen egg rolls in the convection oven as well. Put you frozen egg rolls in the microwave to heat the inside and then just 2-3 minutes in the convection oven to make the outside crispy.

FYI - On one occasion I had no plum sauce for my egg rolls, I had to “Improvise, Adapt, and Overcome”. I made a plum sauce substitute with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard and honey.

Can't imagine what that would cost...

Almost everything at Pusateri's is a ripoff. An ex-gf of mine used to really run up my bills by shopping there. Can't tell a woman how to spend without coming across as cheap and controlling, so I had to grin and bear it.

I like their bakery and espresso myself but it's not the place to do most of your groceries.

I would choose home made pizza, the dough is very easy to make. My experience taste is better, also cost is lower compared to take out.
