(no names mentioned) have the need to post many useless threads (like this one for example)? Is it so they can see their name in lights? Is there a rule on how many useless threads one can post per hour or per day?

These may just be redundant questions, so don't feel you must reply or contribute if you don't want to.

Here
People want to talk about what's important to them and we should all be polite and understanding and have patience even is what they say is brainless and asinine and utterly fucking stupid.

Some do it for exposure, maybe they hope to get some business.

This is called 'The Lounge' and sometimes it can get pretty dull: At least 'some people' are trying to have a good time.

Sometimes it's fun to engage or eavesdrop on the drunks sitting by the bar....

There is 1 certain person which we may or may not be speaking about. If you head over to the other board and pay a tad bit of attention to what's going on you will see. Some people spread ugly rumors about others because they are filled with hate, some are just jealous, and some just need attention they so desperately seek.

What is either amazing or curious is the fact that most, if not all, who felt the need to reply to my redundant questions, all seem to be referring to the same person.

Hmmmm ........ I wonder what that might mean?

it means if you in any way antagonize a supporting member, your post will be deleted

In the beginning of Terb it felt that way. There were at least a dozen people posting all the time. As if they worked here full time 24/7. After a year or so it seems like a competition. Mind you back then there was no spell / grammar checker. SO grammar had to be really well.

Then one thread finally appeared where it became a status symbol of who posted more and knows better. I think maybe 3 dozen people got banned within 5 years. Some had to leave because they bet on their fantasy beliefs and were proven wrong and they couldn't say goodbye to Terb. Their handle was transferred to the winner instantly and weren't allowed to comeback in any form.

And yes there were some people with useless posts, that got shut down or told to change or leave. There were a few smart people but their EGO's became to big, they left.

Stupid / NPC will always be with us ( world).
