I haven’t been active much lately, but I’ve heard this is now common even in spas which used to be all-inclusive. I think it’d be useful for everyone to identify MAs doing this.

just to be clear, this is NOT regarding extras that go beyond normal MA limits. That’s not something we can discuss here. This is about asking for more money in session for what used to be standard services like:

- kissing
- reverse massage
- showers for two

That sort of thing.

Depending on what package you got, though i dont think Ottawa has that, reverse massage and SF2 have usually been included. Kissing I would think is a YMMV thing unless its stated explicitly in the person's profile, like for CMJ. But that being said, kissing could mean LFK, DFK or little pecks on the lips.

If you really search the threads, you'll notice which MAs to really avoid and also filter out the 'ultra positive comments' which are somewhat contradictory to reality.

Now regarding what hellohello1 said, kissing; and in IMHO all other services really could be YMMV.

I'm sure most of us alreayd know that YMMV doesn't always depend on how massive your wallet is. Most girls simply get irked by a guy's bad hygiene or those with very rude/ nasty personalities.

Yes, I know it's a YMMV thing, but it wasn't an upcharge service in the past. It either happened or it didn't, at least for me. I'm talking about going into what's supposed to be an all-inclusive session and discovering extra charges for these kinds of activities.

shy_romantic - true, there's a few in the GFE list where that can be parsed out, but I think it's worth its own discussion. It definitely changes the business for me, if upcharging becomes the norm I will only go to independents in the future or spa MAs who clearly state they don't have separate in-session charges.

The simplest way and most honest would be for the SPAs to list what the MA "upcharge" for in their profile.
You need to be member to see profile.
Doesn't need to include cost, just list them, like:
-Upcharge = kissing, shower, ...

Then you know upfront what is allowed and that it cost.

And to the one that will bring that crap shoot of YMMV, when there is cost, there is NO YMMV that stand unless the guys is scary ugly or smell like shit... :)

Because this site do not allow talking about those...
It doesn't allow talking about extras that are not regular MA services, like FS or oral. No rules against talking about what is normally included in a MA session (or was in 2019). I tried to make that clear above to avoid that coming up.

also the guy who runs the list isnt on this site anymore, he's on twitter so the list can say what it want to right?

Someone could also open a spa that was all inclusive!

I'll share my input here. . .

I've only really started 'hobbying regularly' since summer of 2021. Prior to this I usually get my action from bars, clubs, social groups, online dating, etc etc.

If I really needed to 'hobby', I would be contacting a SP a maximum of 4x annually. And that's pushing it.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Anyways,.... here it goes. I've been mainly using CMJ as my outlet since last year. I have had a total of 16x since last year. This a total mix bag of regular sessions, training duos, intro sessions, etc.

I have NEVER , NEVER had a MA ask for an upcharge. Why???

Because I research and always ask questions from the gents who posts positive stuff ( and not so positive stuff) regarding MAs whether form CMJ, Club Alpha , Indy or others.

There are indeed MAs who like to upcharge simply because they think they can. And while it may be their right, it surely affects the industry negatively.

I can mention at least 8 MAs which are 'no fly zones' from either CMJ or Club Alpha in a heartbeat. Of course, one can simply PM me of who to avoid. :)

My word of advice would be to chat on twitter in advance to say what you would like to do and see the response. Often they say they will provide that, in the room they bring the surprise of surcharge. So in your text after receiving a positive answer, be explicit and ask if they are surcharges? Worst case they will say yes so you know what to expect. Some will say that tips are welcome.

I always ask before booking what they allow or not allow, or if there's an upcharge. If there's too many restrictions (which I respect) or upcharging, 99% I won't book
Same, I won't book if there are too many upcharges. But I don't ask for a menu of services and prices. I will simply ask them if I were to take all options available, how much would I have to bring with me?

That is potentially contradictory: you won't book if there are too many upcharges but you ask what it would cost if you were to take all the options. That means you will either always pay top dollar or walk away, missing out on opportunities. Also if you agree to all of the options you have no sense as to what is being offered.

It's baffling :/
Oh, is it really baffling to you? I'm sorry, I'll dumb it down a bit.

Yeah, I think most of us really only want the top option available anyways. Why wouldn't we?

If their top price is too high, then there's no point in even asking about lower options, as those would be too high as well. You see, some of us have the ability to estimate in between prices without having to be told item by item.

You don't ask for the menu so how do you know what are all the options? This is the reason why some MAs bring the upcharge.
Some people just don't care and only think will their little head. I guess you are one of them
