MAs who upcharge during session.

They just opened a second location and seem to be thriving so enough guys must enjoy their upcharging business model.

I think decision to open 2nd location was a long time - pre-COVID so it has nothing to do with up charging trend

In all my years seeing MAs, I’ve only had one that seemed transactional with a bunch of upcharges and menu options to pick and choose like I’m staring at the big screen at McDonalds. She didn’t last very long.

Agree. I recall corresponding with one who wanted $280 just for a basic session, and outrageous upcharges for everything else. She was around for about a week. lol

One girl was getting a try out a local spa wanted to charge for everything, including each piece of clothing that came off. I asked her what she did before massage? She said camgirl! Figures, here's another token for you babe. She lasted only one day after I saw her and she quit the next day. I did tell her that sort of stuff doesn't work in massage, and I think she was getting that message possibly others had seen her before and came away unimpressed with her too. I got the feeling that she might have be ready to adjust herself to the new paradigm and gotten successful at it, but then she quit, so i guess she prefers the token system.

That's just crazy. The new girls are supposed to be trained. They obviously socialize with the other mas. Part of it is the culture of the spa they work in. (Not in this case beacuse that price per clothing is extreme!)
It's their choice how they want to go about a session but it does give a bad name to the spa if most of the girls are upcharging. I deters people from going to the spa and is just terrible for business.
Word of mouth is the name of the game in that business and especially because we have a forum like this!
