Donald Trump is not a conservative either. He is a populist. He supported the Democrats as a private citizen in the past. Some of his positions could be considered liberal (within the parameters of US politics).
However, I'm not saying that a Conservative can't also be an opportunist. What I'm saying is Patrick Brown's alignment with the Conservative Party, and will conservative values in general, is not genuine and is motivated only by opportunism.
